I have been seeing a bunch of people (including Uchiha fans) express a bunch of stupid reasons to hate Sarada. Allow me to address some of these reasons:
Reason 1: She's a half breed Uchiha with glasses.
My response: So what? For starters, is any Uchiha really "pure Uchiha"? If you think about it, despite bearing the last name Otsutsuki, Indra was essentially the first Uchiha. Having said that, there were no Uchiha (or Otsutsuki) women available for Indra to breed with at the time, so straight from the start, Indra's kids, grandkids, and so forth would have been of diluted blood since Indra would have had to mate with a normal Earthling. Even if his descendants engaged in inbreeding throughout the generations, the dilution would have still already been there, and we also know that not all Uchihas chose incest or expressed disdain about marrying outside of the clan (which means that the dilution would continue even further). Itachi's girlfriend Izumi Uchiha had a non-Uchiha father, and we all know that Obito would have had no qualms with marrying outside of the clan, as he was madly in love with Rin.
Even in the era of warring states, while we don't have direct confirmation from the Uchiha clan itself, we still have some hints that render it plausible that it wasn't absolute law to marry within the clan or anything like that. Specifically, we have the fact that Hashirama (a Senju) married Mito (an Uzumaki). I know that those two clans were relatives, but they still aren't the same clan. They were presumably allies during that time though, so maybe it is possible that clans were fine with you marrying someone from an allied clan. We know that the Uchiha had allies too, such as the Hagoromo clan, so it is not implausible that some inter-clan marriages happened on the Uchiha side of things too.
Also, we technically don't even know when inbreeding amongst Indra's descendants would have become possible since we don't know how many kids/grandkids/etc that Indra had, and if his most immediate descendants included a mix of both sexes. In other words, if Indra for example, only had sons (and no daughters), then inbreeding among them wouldn't be possible. That means, we'd need another generation (aka more dilution) to see if we get some girls this time. Then who knows if the grandkids had girls among them? This could have gone on for several generations, so for all we know, the blood could have diluted a lot before inbreeding even became possible.
Basically, all I'm saying is that no Uchiha is really "pure" and it is likely that by the time we got to the likes of Sasuke, they were technically already highly diluted.
Yet the sharingan gene still persists within the bloodline (which is really all that matters).
That is why it is stupid to hate Sarada for being "half Uchiha", since Sasuke probably isn't even really "pure Uchiha".
Also, what the heck do glasses have to do with anything? You people do realize that despite being a dojutsu, their ability to awaken the sharingan has just about nothing to do with the vision of their base eyes (save for the blindness caused by usage of the mangekyou sharingan or the usage of Izanagi/Izanami), right? Even more importantly however, Sarada's need for glasses doesn't actually seem to affect her actual power with the sharingan.
In fact, Sarada has arguably showed better base sharingan usage than any "pure Uchiha" that we've seen thus far!
With only 1 tomoe, we have seen Sarada use several genjutsu, copy several ninjutsu, and use the precognition. Now let's compare that to her father. We didn't even see him use his first genjutsu until 3 tomoe, and to date, we have only seen him copy one thing, and that was Lee's taijutsu! We've hardly seen Madara or Obito use base sharingan at all (in favor of using MS or rinnegan).
So tell me then, do the glasses really affect anything in the long run?
Also, to educate some ignorant people:
Glasses doesn't mean that you have bad vision!! There are different symptoms and reasons as to why someone would require glasses.
For example, you could be near sighted (which I myself am). In my case, I can actually see just fine even without my glasses. I can walk around anywhere I want and see just fine. The need for my glasses really just comes in when I need to read something from afar, like when I am sitting in the back of one of my university lecture halls, and my professor is writing something on the board, and I need to be able to read it. Another example is when a road sign is far away from me, and I need to read it. That aside though, my vision is fine. That is one example of why one would need glasses.
On the flip side, one could be far sighted, which is pretty much the opposite to my problem. These people need to be farther away to read or see something.
Then there are those who can hardly see at all without their glasses.
Etc...
So no, having glasses doesn't necessarily make Sarada an Uchiha with bad vision.
Reason 2: She is not all Uchiha oriented and focused on studying her clan and whatnot (like Madara, Obito, Itachi, Shisui, Sasuke, etc..) She blindly serves the village that killed her clan
My response: Tell me something. What did Madara/Obito/Itachi/Shisui/Sasuke all have in common that Sarada does not have? Answer: A clan!!! Unlike her predecessors, Sarada doesn't have clansmen to actually teach her about all that Uchiha stuff! Her father (the only other living Uchiha) has been absent on a mission for most of her life, and her mother probably knows little more about the Uchiha than Sarada does. Does Sakura even know the truth about Itachi and the Uchiha clan? Anyway, Sarada had nobody to teach her (up until now), and for that reason, I doubt that she even knows about the naka shrine. Furthermore, at least in the anime, Sarada actually tried studying stuff about her father and clan from books at the library, but even then, beyond a certain point everything became classified information that Sarada could not gain access to. Therefore, Sarada can not really be blamed for not knowing a lot about her clan or looking into it. Also, having said this stuff, how the hell would Sarada actually know that Konoha was behind the massacre of her clan? Like I said, everything beyond a certain point is classified, so Sarada doesn't actually even really know that there was a massacre! All she knows is that she and her father are the only living Uchihas due to "unfortunate circumstances". Plus, to be fair, I already just noted how Sarada tried studying her clan at the library. In a recent episode, she also excitedly asked Sasuke to help her perfect her katon, which is an Uchiha traditional technique. Therefore, Sarada technically actually has shown interest in the clan.
Reason 3: She wears sexualized outfits.
My response: That's Ikemoto's fault, not Sarada's. You can argue that from an in universe perspective, Sarada is the one who dresses herself. However, from an in universe perspective, I can also note that nobody in universe has seemed to find Sarada's outfit oh so sexy or inappropriate. Therefore, if you want to argue from an in universe perspective, is she really so sexualized? Fans are the only ones who seem to have qualms about her outfit. Even then, some of the fans who complain about her outfit can be called into question about their own degree of perversion. After all, I myself don't find her outfit so arousing or sexual. There are many others that don't either. Many of us that don't find it so arousing don't really have a problem with the outfit. For those of you that do however, what does that say about you? Just think about that. You may say that the outfit is not so sexy to you, but if that is the case, then why is it problematic to you? You may answer, that just because you as an individual don't find it arousing, doesn't mean it is not arousing to someone else. That is true, but some people might find turtle neck sweaters and jeans to be sexy. Does that make those inappropriate too then?
Reason 4: She is not relevant and gets no development
My response: That is Kodachi's fault, and also kind of Kishi's fault. It's not Sarada's fault that Kishi took all of her potential plot lines and development and just oneshotted it all in Naruto Gaiden. I mean really, what is there for Sarada to develop in (aside from power) at this point? Her father issues were resolved. Nobody hates her or is targeting her. She doesn't hate anybody or seek vengeance against anyone. Her hokage goal doesn't really induce a plot since the pursuit of her goal only really entails her doing missions (aka basically just doing her job). She is not trying to revolutionize the world or end the system or anything like that. What's more, even if she did learn the truth of the Uchiha and then decide to do something radical, she would just become a rehash of Sasuke!
Besides, hardly anyone besides Boruto is relevant in this story, so it is not just Sarada alone that is not relevant.
Reason 5: She is weak
My Response: No she is not. I already pointed out how she has the best base sharingan usage, and to be honest, her first and only major loss thus far (against someone who is actually her age and of the same rank as her) was against Shinki. Sarada for the most part has actually done really well in battle.
Now I am done with my rant debunking stupid reasons as to why people hate Sarada. There are some more, but they are too stupid for me to address right now.
