Actually, if you payed more attention you would have seen that Sasuke initially went for a killing blow with his hand (piercing Naruto), but he changed it to a punch at the last second. Naruto's claws would have, at worse, blinded Sasuke completely, which would still have resulted in his win.

You've also missed the point of those two exchanges of blows - Sasuke refused to kill Naruto so that he can be different from Itachi, and Naruto wanted to both bring back and prove Sasuke wrong when he said he can't even scratch his headband - which he did. They both succeeded with their goals, Sasuke won the battle.

Now it's different - only Naruto accomplished one of his goals, which was to bring back Sasuke, while Sasuke failed to kill Naruto. The battle, however, was a tie.

Is it really that hard to understand?

Also,i believe they both won the first fight.

Didn't sasuke state to naruto he couldn't scratch his headband? But naruto did end up doing so? Means his goal was reached. Sasuke didn't kill him but won the fight.
Makes .5:1

2nd fight naruto acheived his goal and won the fight by sasuke surrending and admitting defeat that he could no longer go on.

Naruto 2
Sasuke 1

Academy fight (if you wanna count that)

Naruto 2
Sasuke 2
.5 for goals
1 for a win

So you think that claw which scratched of a huge chunk of the metal headband would have only made Sasuke blind?

It would have ripped his face off.
