I don't remember it at least, if anything naruto got more hype than sasuke since he was very similar to sage, kishi even made it look like he was the sage's reincarnation at some point.
I understand that it must suck to be displaced from a position of superiority, it's the hardest thing to accept really, but please try. You may not realise it but you guys are only irritated simply because you can't accept the fact that Naruto has caught up and surpassed Sasuke. Sasuke has been getting hype since the beginning of the manga. Naruto was deadlast in the academy, Sasuke finished ahead of the class. Sasuke was a genius, Naruto was an idiot. Sasuke was from the great Uchiha clan, Naruto was just a good for nothing demon child, Sasuke had eyes that would surpass Itachi (according to Obito and Oro), Naruto had no where near the talent and intellect of his parents. Sasuke killed Orochimaru, Itachi, and Deidara, Naruto was fodder against Akatsuki and always needed a ton of help just to survive. This was the pattern throughout the manga. However, Naruto has grown up and surpassed Sasuke, and his hype and feats are surpassing even those of Sasuke (by a fair margin actually). So you guys, instead of accepting that fact are lashing out and, for lack of a better term, throwing a temper tantrum. Sasuke is simply weaker than Naruto at this point in time. The roles have reversed, Sasuke is the jealous one now....well, that was until Jugo gave him sage susano'o, Naruto gave him Kyubi cloak and some other stuff with Kabuto and Hagoromo. Having said that, and I accept criticism for this massive contradiction, I do believe that Kishi is nerfing Sasuke with this whole charge up time ish. True, Sasuke is weaker than Naruto, however, the charge up time thing is just plain garbage and plot device, the guy is an Uchiha with Hashirama's dna. If Madara, under the same circumstances, didn't need a charge up time, than Sasuke shouldn't either. But we must remember that Kaguya has also been nerfed. I don't care what reason Kishi tries to conjure up, there's no way a Juubi jin/Juubi herself should ever run out of chakra. She has all the juubi's chakra (which Naruto sensed with sage mode and Kurama said it was infinite like the earth itself), she has Madara's chakra, she has her chakra, she has BZ's chakra, she has the chakra she stole from the people in IT, and she's running out of chakra? This is a very bad joke, even worse than Sasuke's charge up time.
