Danzou is very stupid.... if he hadn't taken shisui's eye.... everything would've gone different, Shisui loved konoha very much and planned to use KA on fugaku, if he managed to do that, the uchihas wouldn't plan a coup d'état + the uchihas would've been still alive.... but danzou stole shisui's eye, so everything went different... Fukagu still had his madara-will and planned a coup d'état, but not if shisui used KA on him.... so leaf elders, especially danzou, ordered itachi to kill the clan..... but not if it was up to shisui, and because of that sasuke killed danzou..
so if danzou didn't take shisui's eye, the uchihas wouldn't die, and sasuke wouldn't be evil and overruled by hatred,
the uchihas wouldn't plan a coup d'état, and Danzou would've been still alive

Same can be said for Hiruzen.. he would've simply undone what Tobirama did.. Or hell if Tobirama had undone what he did, when the uchiha planned the first coup during his time.. Leaf would be the strongest village by far.

Your forgetting that the senju clan pretty much kept them at arms length. Plus the rivalries between the senju and uchiha. Also shisui saw a war being fought over for his eyes that's why he gave his last eye to itachi. All danzo did was take his other eye. He wasn't the catalyst for the uprising and bad luck that happened to the uchiha

the Uchiha are evil from the get-go ... Danzo had nothing to do with how they would react to a lost one. That clan is the Devil's seeds and got what they deserve, even if Danzo didn't take that eye the Uchiha were corrupted and cursed by Madara's will.
