so, the eight gates fight is not going to be in next episode i.e. 418? Is it in 420?

If you look at the manga chapters, next episode covers chapter 667 and 668. It hass the Kabuto/Sasuke scenes, Gai using 7 gates, and then Gai's flashback about his father.

I don't know what episode 419 is, it sounds like extra filler flashback based on the title.

Well we do get a few really nice quality episodes every year (sadly only a few), I mainly just wait for those to come. 2015 has not gotten anything yet, so something should be in the works by now.

I had a list of episodes with the best animators in another thread a few months ago, this is what I had

Hiroyuki Yamashita is the main director for the entire movie, just like Hayato Date is the main director for the entire anime.

I don't think he will be back until after the movie is out, because there are things that neeed to be done even after the animation is finished

Yes, he wasn't part of the main staff, but made a short appearance to animate a couple action scenes in that episode (#401)

It's pretty easy to spot which scenes he did because they stick out so much.

Look toriyama didin't created GT version and what happened? Company decided to make own GT series on TV. Same can happen with gaiden if they get on movie world wide. High views it can happen.

Does it make you laugh if I tell you that episode 167 was in fact one of the most expensive Shippuden episode ever made? The episode was done entirely by 4 high level animators, but the parts that people hated were animated by Shingo Yamashita, a compilation of his animations are here:

With episode 85 being the 2nd most expensive think. if 8 gates can get anywhere close to that, it would be a miracle.
