Studio Pierrot won't have any excuses for fillers anymore.

Considering the ending of the manga series on the expected date of November, it will also in a great sense break the cycle of implementing fillers in the animated series to make sure the anime stays a certain distance in timeframe from the manga chapters otherwise risking compromise.

Now that the manga series is coming to a close, Studio Pierrot will literally have no more excuses on implementing any more unnecessary fillers as of current development since the announcement. Doing so will be for no more reasons with the the exception of purely prolonging Naruto as much as possible.

So hopefully no more "story time episodes", no more pauses between actual battles just because a random character "suddenly was reminded of something that happened God-knows-when" with a filler character that no one can relate to.

I do hope Studio Pierrot will now instead focus on actual Naruto episodes based on the manga, instead of purposely dragging it for too long.

wtf that filler wasnt even that bad if you compare it to the real crappy ones (ninja ostrich, sumo warriors etc XD )
imo some fillers are pretty cool. i absolutely loved those kakashi fillers, and i liked those with guren(crystal style), and that one with sora(pseudo jinchuriki)and chikara fillers and also those during the war were pretty good. as long as it fits within the story and is not a flashback filler im totally fine with it. because wheter we like it or not, there had to be fillers, thats a fact....

Back when i didn't know Naruto was ending so soon i would have agreed with you, but now... i'm thinking it's best for it to stay on air for as long as possible. Maybe i'll actually pick it up again, after the Manga ends.

Lol yea that filler was pretty bad, I feel "allied mom forces" was worse though. Most Naruto fillers are bad especially durning the war arc. With the exception of the Kakashi anbu fillers those were actually pretty good. Some people seemed to like Chikara force fillers but I thought they sucked and Kabuto looked stupid in them.

I don't get why they made such stupid fillers when there's a ton of Naruto lore they could use to make better ones. For instance the Kakashi anbu fillers were based on actual events. That's what the fillers should be. Not this ostrich crap.
