Really? I'd say the Yata mirror is a pretty s*it way to defend yourself considering it only protects the SUsanoo from one side. If someone hits Itachi from the back, he's a goner. Plus, Totsuka will always be limited by range. You can't seal what you can't reach. Both of those are widely overestimated in their capabilities. Rightfully so at the time, but that was when Orochimaru was a big deal and summoning meteors from space wasn't a thing. Stakes have changed, which only goes alongside my point, which is, to answer your question, that Indra Ootsusuki would completely crush Itachi in battle and deserves a spot on this list far more than he does.

It was a surprise attack, he was not sensed by Madara so that means Sasuke wouldn't be able to sense a sneak attack like that either.

Sasuke has Jugo's sage power and he isn't a Jubbi jin, an attack like this will never work.

Yata can change its shape. Or any of its properties to render any attack "Meaningless". And yeah Totsuka like any attack is limited by range. But it will seal anything with a Soul and cut through "Any enemy in it's right".

Doesn't matter what you stay. No Susanoo can beat Itachi's.

Just because it can change its shape, doesn't mean it can encover an entire Susanoo, otherwise Itachi would be invincible, far more valued than he already was. You also skim over Totsuka being limited by range, but that is a far bigger deal than you might make it seem. Any decent foe who can keep its distance from Itachi with long ranged attacks should be able to very easily take him down once his body and eyes can't mantain the Susanoo any longer....which is not that long either with his normal MS, might I add.

Because he had a Rinnegan, you can see Madara isn't strong enough to stop Sasuke by fighting him so he cheats using Deva/limbo.
