Strongest to weakest chakra natures

This is what i feel-
1 Wind
2 Earth
3 Lightning
4 Fire
5 Water

However this is nt appropriate as it also depends on chakra user. Like fire is weak against water bt too much fire may counter water, earth is weak against lightning, wind against fire etc.

im guessing the thread maker meant in terms of versatility and utility, i kinda agree with this list due to lightning and Earth's insane versatility and water being one of the most inflexible elements with one of the most common weaknesses.

I guess it depends a lot on who's using the jutsu. Madara can make Fire jutsus look godly. But frankly, Fire jutsus just aren't lethal enough and easy to avoid. Haven't seen enough wind. I mean RS isn't exactly mainstream wind jutsu.

...water...inflexible? well....I would totally say it's not as you wrote because you could do nearly anything with it. Fire is not that flexible but more straigth und uncontrollable (meaning: it ever looks powerful but not pretty (of course beauty is not making an element strong but fire looks kinda dull compared to water.
And I can't understand the strength of earth. Do yu count the dust and sand style to earth? Then I would totally agree but in my opinion earth is dull and inflexible too. Perfect for variation in attack are water, wind and lightning (lightning and water the most) but water can be used in more situations - and I love the element water so I am maybe a "bit" prejudiced ^^ - and lightning would just...well lightning is speed and pure destruction. If you want to push your enemy away lightning would'nt work without physical damage so I think the most flexible element is still water, the most destructive lightning and fire, the strongest earth and wind...well, wind is just a lower version of lightning, isn't it?^^ I would rate it less powerful, less fast and less destructive then lightning...so many words but short list:

1. lightning
2. water (I want to put it first so badly but I want to stay realistic)
3. fire
4. wind
5. earth (earth is so...slow im(a)o)

earth with sand and dust style: (mais kekkei genkai won't make water stronger, hakus bloodline doesn't exist anymore, lightning is first already so the..laser style? (forgot name) won't make anything either so I will just accept dust and sand kekkei genkai

Wind beats lightning. Asuma could destroy a rock with a wind enhanced chakra blade. wind can tear water technigues apart or around (so they turn against the water user), maybe wind can do the same thing to fire techniques.

Hmm ok I see wind can be useful too but there are just a few (but strong I have to admit) wind user.
But the skilled water user would dodge or use the water to cut through the cut (cutting a straight wind blade with many little water blades (or else) to make the air innocuous.

To blow the water against it's user could be good but the user just creates a new technique out of the flying water or hide in the splash to attack different (the flexibility of water allows to attack the wind user at his weak point: strong, fast attacks from proximity like the jutsu itachi used as he appeared in Konoha una fought Kakashi, Guy and Kurenai.

To cut fire with wind is probably harder because the fire uses the air up.
