Does this hint towards stronger figures within the World Government, Celestial Dragons, Revs (specifically Dragon) or do you actually think Kaido is the strongest person alive in the OP verse.

At first I thought it would be Shanks, especially since Nami questioned if Kaido was human or not (assuming he was the strongest beast, not creature) & the hype surrounding Shanks' character but his title shows that he is the strongest pirate/creature alive. I would assume Akainu is the strongest figure in the WG, unless the Kong ends up being stronger which is probable and something to consider.

He's probably strong, but strongest, nah.

I think their are stronger higher uppers in the Marines.

I don't see new stronger pirates though. Shanks is definitely one of the strongest, but they are or were the big four and the strongest.

I would like to say he isn't the strongest, but 70% is finished and idk if there is room to introduce new pirates that haven't even been foreshadowed as long as the emperors.

He's a Yonko and was stated to be the strongest creature alive who can't even kill himself.

How is he not the strongest character in the series at the moment?

*********** translation mentioned "this pirate is known as the strongest living creature" . This indicates 2 things , first he is a creature , and the strongest ! second , notice that Oda didn't approve it , he just mentioned the fame and the name people chose for KAIDO.

MS said strongest living creature whether it be in the sky or land or sea among All the living things that crawl.

And yet people are still saying he's not the strongest.

Shanks is not the strongest, that fall would've killed him for sure but it didn't kill Kaido.
Kaido would've never gotten his arm bit off by a fodder sea king in east blue either.

Because we as readers know more than the in world characters. Just because within the Pirate community(as evidenced by Uurogue telling the story) he is regarded as the strongest thing alive doesn't mean there's not a power unbeknownst to them, like say a gorosei or something(can't be explained what since it's still unknown but you get my point I hope)
