I'm here to express my opinion <---- (Read that word),
On who is the strongest of the Gokage:
I could make a very long and detailed summary for each of the current Kages.. but I'm sure it would only be read fully by roughly 15-20% of the viewers, so I'll just hit the main points of each Kage.
Tsunade:
A Sannin, Senju lineage and 5th Hokage of the Hidden Leaf.
- Monster Strength, one of the most impressive strength feats in the Manga
- No specific chakra affinity shown in the Manga
- Possibly the best medical ninja in the entire Manga (Hashirama wasn't exactly a medical ninja)
- Can tank virtually anything when her seal is active
A:
Son of the 3rd Raikage and 4th Raikage of the Hidden Cloud.
- Second fastest in the Manga (Minato's FTG is instant teleportation, I don't consider it to be speed, Naruto is the first fastest)
- Raiton armor that tanked Sasuke's Chidori
- Destructive power that forced a MS user to activate Susano'o
- Stamina on deck
- Crazy reaction timing
- Reckless, will risk anything to get the kill
Onoki:
3rd Tsuchikage of the Hidden Stone.
- Dust Release (Basically, if you don't dodge this or if you don't possess Obito's Kamui it essentially disassembles you body at the molecular level and one shots you)
- Can fly
- Lightened Boulder Jutsu (Makes anything light enough for Onoki to lift)
Mei:
5th Mizukage of the Hidden Mist.
- Very special KKG: Earth, Fire, and Water (Best at Suiton)
- Lava release - (potential 1 shot abilities if caught inside, but not likely as it is a slow process)
- Boil release
Gaara:
Son of the 4th Kazekage, former Jinchuriki of Shukaku, and 5th Kazekage of the Hidden Sand.
- Sand control (Can shape virtually anything out of his sand)
- Absolute defense (His mother)
- Can fly
The strongest of the Gokage in my opinion is:
I believe the Gokage go in the order of Gaara>A>Onoki>Mei>Tsunade
Why did I choose Gaara? Well...
-Gaara is the most versatile among them
- The more sand he has, the deadlier he is. From the fight with Kimmimaro.. he can create sand from just about anywhere.
He states that he can create it effortlessly, and he always has the sand from his gourd.
- He can fly with his sand, this makes him the biggest thread to A and Tsunade, as they have not shown any long ranged Jutsu in the Manga. He can use sand burial to force Tsunade's seal to activate, and simply out stamina her as he effortlessly attacks her from a distance, safe and sound in the air. The same can be said for A, except he could probably overwhelm Gaara with his speed, but where Gaara lacks in speed and reaction time... he can make up with his absolute defense.
- He easily handled and neatly disposed of Sasuke's Amaterasu at Kage summit.
- He can easily make shurikens and other ninja tools from his sand, which would be very effective in long ranged assaults.
- His sand can potentially guard him against Mei's Lava, and he could interrupt Onoki before he lets off a Particle style Jutsu. (It's not instant, it's always taken ramp up time in the manga, even if the ramp up time isn't long.
I personally believe Gaara is underrated, and he is number 15 in my top 15 strongest characters.
Also, before anyone brings up Deidara Vs. Gaara, he couldn't use the full extent of his power + protect his village + be on the assault and come out on top, it was bad positioning on Gaara's part. I actually think Gaara Vs. Deidara with no reasons to hold back would be a very interesting fight.
