I personally think Ino has stepped up quite a bit.
I think she's beautiful, Intellegent (More so then Sasuke & Shino) she graduated top of her class.
Basically has better Chakura control then sakura die to when she fought her and used her Chakura in her hair to catch sakura.
She's very understanding and strong willed.

I think she has a bit of every character in her.
Hinatas passion
Sakura Determination
Tentens Loyalty
Tsunades Will
& Temaris Confidence

I know I skipped out some kunoichi but I was focusing on the mains.

Just because she stepped up doesn't mean she's the strongest kunoichi. To do that she needs to break away from her support status and become a fighter that can fight effectively in 1v1's, or at least fare a better chance than other kunoichis, and she certainly hasn't shown that now.

Ino has come a long way I'll give her that, but out of the now K12 I'd rank her above TenTen and that's about it, Sakura is probably the strongest out of the K12 and either Tsunade or Mei is the strongest Koniochi period. But I'd wouldn't go as far to say she's smarter than Sasuke who beat opponents like Deidara and Danzo by himself.

As for strongest kunoichi, it would probably be Tsunade or Konan

Noone has ever praised her for chakara control. Using her hair to do that is just a feat i don't think it has anything to do with chakara control that is extremely good. Can't anyone around this base praise another character without blatantly bringing down another? Jeez.

No sakura surpass ino in intellegence in data

Only in first grade ino was above sakura thats when sakura was the little kid who bulled by others after that sakura become very smart she surpassed ino and last databook confirmed it

To her mates i think sakura is the strongest followed by he then the rest
