Strongest Kage

As far as what we've seen so far. I think that it's pretty indisputable that the Raikage is the best. But that's mainly because the only two kages that we've truly seen in battle are him and the Hokage. We've seen Gaara in battle, but we haven't really gotten a grasp on what he can really do after having Shukaku taken. We only saw that he can still use sand, but we don't know how much skill he still has with it. I think that the Tsuchikage is going to surprise us with some space/time stuff later based on what we've already seen, and the Mizukage has two elements that are apparently KGs, so I'm expecting to see more from her as well.
All in all, we can't really form a good point of view on this since we haven't seen much from the other kages as of yet, but for now, it's the Raikage.

Im going to say Tsuchikage because he must be great to still be a kage at that age, also, from what i saw at the kage sumit, he could of vapourised sasuke with that cube attack which was amazing, though i dont know what all the kages can do
Yes I agree but he lost all of his powers when shukaku was extracted from him.( Its my guess since in one of the episodes it states that gaara is able to use sand because of the shukaku)So I go with raikage.
pls don't get me wrong for saying this... i know Tsunade has been a great hokage, but i dont see her comparison to the rest when it comes to a fight. The only offensive thing we've seen from her is Taijutsu, so immediately that puts her below Raikage, and possible Garra (i don't see her getting near them in a fight)
Her true strength and value comes from her ability as a medical ninja. When pein attacked the leaf village, she was able to heal and restore chakra to just about every1 fighting, something no other Kage could do.
So i guess collectively, extending the chakra and healing every ninja in the village is at the very least as good as having a kage that can fight (especially when some of the ninja in that villlage are ppl like kakashi, guy, naruto etc.)
So, in terms of this thread 'Strongest Kage', i dont think she compares to others when it comes to a fight, but if your entire village is going to war u'd rather have some1 like her on your team xD. In terms of the ninja alliance, she'd even be able to heal and provide additional chakra to the other Kage's, so in term's of value, she's probably better than the rest.

I would say Tsunade. Shes a sannin after all and probably got most experience of them all (maybe not more then Tsuchikage probably, depends). Over raikage she has the advantage imo because of her medical powers. I think shes pretty equal with Raikage when its about psychical strenght.
I think Tsunade got bigger and stronger hits, but again, Raikage is far more faster than her and probably can hit faster than Tsunade. If they were about to fight until death i really think the medical powers from Tsunades side would have gained her victory. She would heal to rapidly for Raikage to kill her.
For the sake of the people, shes far the best kage. Considering what she did for Konoha under pains attack.

1. ffs why everyone thinks that the fact that tsunade is sannin makes her strong. They got named saninn's during the 3rd ninja war. They were one of the strongest shinobis then but that doesn't mean they they were the strongest. Sannin is title just as like sage is. you can be sage of paper but that doesn't mean that you are equal or stronger that some kage...

Yes Dear, Tsunade having the title Sannin makes her strong.
) didn't you even see in the manga? all of the other Kages acknowledged her and she was even noted as the 'slug princess'. Also pain said that 'each of the sannins have their unique form' Tsunade isn't regarded as slug princess for just being able to summon katsuyu. Maybe there's a deeper explanation on that.
To tell you, Onoki & Tsunade were the only ones who have been in the previous wars and according to Jiraiya that during the second world war Tsunade single handedly attained victory for Konoha. (Maybe that's one of kishi's reasons why he had to make Tsunade live 'coz we have yet to see her full potential)
Do you think Healing & Taijutsu are the only things she can do? if that's so, why doesn't konoha make Sakura the Hokage? As i remember in the beginning Kakshi stated that when you have already mastered chakra control, you can master every jutsu.
) well, tsunade is great at chakra control so that implies that she could probably have lots of jutsu up her sleeves.
