ppl shit on gaara speed because his battle with lee but lets face it no one during those exams could react to weightless lee let alone 5 gated lee gaaras sand while slower then it was right behind it the whole time which led to gaara switching out of his sand sheild for the last blow so it is in no way shape or form slow and has only gotten faster as time progressed
gaara also has flight to protect him from any lighting bullshit sauce would try
not to mention ppl say chidori nagshigi protects sauce thats stupid af simply because a sand tsunami would crush there wouldnt be no reason to do sand coffin/burial etc. and even with amazing speed that sauce has he has no where to run

gaara can prob beat for naruto the SM that beat pien (not war arc) his biggest problem is the frogs doing thier oil jutsu... but two things 1 the frogs generally shown to attack with it when 1 combining with a fire tech (jariya) or 2 someone realizes that sage chakra attacks r needed (like with gamakichi)
i dont c why the frogs would auto use oil unless full intel.. also these frogs r pretty slow (well fast for their size but easy to hit) gaara can catch them via sand
as for sauce
i think the highest is MS sauce gaara litterally has counter for everything sauce has

susanno- pull from under
enton-cannon block
amatrastsu- said to be short and at best mid range in data book but if even dont believe me gaara can do sand hail/ and should be able to create somewhat of sand storm to block his line of sight... lastly even if that fails since gaara sand is shown to not really burn from enton or at least really really slowly... gaara as a last resort can put take off sand armor (seen in manga and anime covers entire body including clothing sort of like shell)
the arrows r biggest problem but if he turns it into long distance fight he will be fine
as for ems i dont c gaara beating him... no way only version of ems i can see him standing at chance at is the one that fought kabuto cuz then he will have reliable way of taking him out of susanno...
