The manga says that the Hyuga are the strongest of the leaf, but I think that it's only possible for them to be hailed as the strongest clan in Konoha is because the Uzumaki clan doesn't exist anymore, given their strong life force and specialty in fuinjutsu, they were feared by other clans that resulted to their annihilation. I believe that the Uzumaki clan is the strongest IF they're still here.
