Why is Gaara above Sasuke? He clearly lost without Shukaku in the actual tournament. He even passed out.

-Sasuke wasn't just having Lees speed. He had Lees speed + Sharingan. A big difference tbh

-Byakugan and Sharingan are completely different abilities. Neji can see Sasukes chakra points etc but Sasuke could use his Sharingan precognition with Lees speed to dodge/block.

-Sasuke isn't dumb, he would use his tools (speed, sharingan, jutsus, close combat, shuriken) wisely.

I can see how Neji could be considered stronger but it's imo either a high diff winn for Neji or one for Sasuke.

Lee speed plus sharingan didnt stop him from getting taged by base naruto on rooftop

Not to mention kaiten would cancel out his chidori,give damage and leave him open for a blitz,neji just brutality destroys sasuke back then..He would not have easy hit and runs like against gaara lol

Byakugan will track of sasuke easily while chakra armour will handle his basic punches and leave him halted..then neji can easily counter with swift and accurate strikes that even amazes kakashi himself who was surprised that a kid like this exist..he will surely catch sasuke with a couple unpredictable strikes.

Lee's speed without gates doesn't mean jack against Neji according to manga. But with the help of sharingan that could be problem for Neji. It could go either way since Sasuke can't maintain that speed for long. And maintaining that speed along with sharingan can tax serious amount of chakra. Its hard to decide really that fight could go either way.

I see neji handling sasuke the same way killer b handled him to be honest..

Sharingan means ntn when against a barrage of swift unpredictable motions..
Sasuke cant even consider blocking since one glancing blow is enough to take away chidori and also hinder him with internal bleedin,keep in mind that the hyuuga style does not consist of linear punches and kicks..

Neji can press chakra points by just reacting to sasuke's attacks by blocking or just a simply parry
