lol You quit it really early. After that there's like 5/6 more years to come. In the end we find out everything. Makuta was created by Mata Nui, and wanted to overthrow him. It's really really complicated and the story gets faaar more complex that in the early sets. I reccomend you read the comics and reviews of the books. Bionicle has ended 4 years ago so yeah you won't have to look for loose ends. I recommend you the best Bionicle site there is: BionicleSector01

When I was 12 (10 years ago) I came up with an awesome story with fantastic ideas (to a 12-year-old-mind), then looked back and realized it was a gen-1 Bionicle spinoff.
Went back to the premise in High School and actually have the plot, story, frame, fantasy, characters, power and plot twists of a five-book series.

Unfortunately, location names are my Kryptonite.
