It was still full kyubi power even if it was only half, because chakra regenerates
just like how Naruto only got a little bit of each tailed beast but they grew to complete size. Same with how kurama Is full size and not half. Thanks come again.

Incorrect. Yang Kurama's and Yin Kurama chakra's are evenly split and is less powerful. They can only regenerate to the max of that 50% of chakra they have. When Naruto and Edo Minato gave chakra, from both Kurama's, to the alliance we find out from Choji that the chakra from both Yin and Yang Kurama was more powerful than before with just Yang Kurama. Yang Kurama alone was able to match the power of 5 Bijuus combined TBB. Adding natural energy to Kurama's chakra only increases its power and chakra reserve.

If you want to discuss about abilities, it depends for user but it's really simple for raw power 9>...>1. Simple Math. It's why Kurama acts cocky and Shukaku pissed like a lil brat.
