Strongest Akatsuki Duo?

I apoligise if a thread like this exists already, I didn't find anything similar.

Just generally, based on skills, brute force & cunning- which Akatsuki duo would've been the most powerful?

Based on when the Akatsuki was first formed the best duo... would probably be:
Pain and Konan

If Kakazu and Hidan were able to get along and worked well together they would be a nearly undefeatable tag team...

Kakazu 5 hearts....Hidan charging at their opponents engulfed in the fire and wind extracting their blood. Kakazu sewing back together any severed limbs.... Almost no way to kill these 2 if they worked well together and aren't separated.

Itachi a mid-long range fighter with low stamina/great with ninjutsu and Genjutsu not so good at Taijutsu/Super fast hand seals and strong fire jutsu's

Kisame Close range fighter with very high stamina/Good at ninjutsu and taijutsu, havn't seen any genjutsu from him so far(i think)/ Strong water jutsu's

Zetsu. Black zetsu controls the land itself and there is an entir army of white zetsus. The rest of akatsuki combined wud have a hard time.

Not good in Taijutsu? You sir need to look at the stats in the databook he's listed as a 4.5 and is also seen using it when needed, he just does not like to fight.

guys.... Tobi is Madara. If each were to go all out, no hold back, Deidara&Tobi would probably come out on top, maybe rivaled by Pain and Konan.

Madara himself wouldn't use Deidara as a partner, he'd use him as a tool, that's why no one is considering that duo unless it's the Madara that is known as Tobi and continues to act weird while never helping, in which case he'd not be the best teammate

madara is the strongest guy there......maybe Itachi is too strong but not as much as him
