So I played the demo for Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition and I have to say that I'm amazed that Street Fighter has been able to put out games for the last 24 years with such little change. The graphics and colors of the characters and background are slightly better, but bottomline the game is nearly the same. There have been added characters over the years with various abilities, but Street Fighter is putting a game with Sega graphics on the PS3...it's kind of insulting.

I know many people love the 2D goodness of Street Fighter and I apologize for slighting you in this. I'm just amazed and jealous that Street Fighter has been able to pump out games for over 20 years with little change in the overall gameplay.

I did enjoy the nostalgic moment at the end of the demo when I smashed a car in a timed setting. Seems so much like the Super Ninentdo days of Street Fighter.

Umm there is seriously something wrong with you Tdogg. This game is but a mere port of 3rd strike that was originally put out in 1999. For fans of this game and people who appreciate how technical and wonderful this game is;now get to play online amongnst other skillful players. Of course it does't look different , yeah it has remixed music here and there trophies challenges unlockables. Bottom line this is not a HD remake keeping it how it originally was is great it says something this is something the fans deserved and they got what they wanted.

I understand that this particular game is a port the point I was getting at is it's amazing that over 20 years Street Fighter has been able to put out nearly the same game and still remain so popular. All there games are like this though...all of them. There isn't too much of a difference from the Super Nintendo versions of the game to the recent ones made for the PS3.

I guess you didn't read my acknowledgment that some people love this. It was put in there for you and others like you. I'll quote it below so you can see it.

Seriously something wrong with me? Hmm ok. It's my opinion and I acknowledged that others would feel differently. Nothing wrong with me friend, what about you?
