this is my list of the straw-hats according to their relevance in the crew
1)LUFFY D MONKEY: he's the captain of the crew and the back bone of the straw-hats. without him there would be no straw-hats
2) NAMI-swan : the navigator is extremely important, without nami, luffy and zoro might never have even left the east blue, there wouldn't have been a voyage either
3)CHOPPER : i vividly remeber the straw-hats cutting putting their rescue mission in arabasta on hiatus, because they needed a doctor, and chopper's not juts any doctor, he obviously very good. Without chopper, i don't think the mugiwara's would last long enough to reach sabaody
4)SANJI: sanji didn't take the lead because without him, the straw-hats wouldn't starve, anybody can always find something to eat,be it food or fruits, but sanji puts class to the mix, since sanji came in, every meal is like one served in a five star hotel. Also, food aside, he's the third strongest in the crew, so if he's not in the kitchen, he's defending his nakamas
5) FRANKY-super: I honestly don't know how the straw hats would have passed through the 1st half of the grandline without franky especially with the thousand sunny without all its cheats and feats, franky has proved himself indispensable
6) ZORO :zoro is a protector and defender, and he is one who makes it possible to have an orderly crew, (where they all have respect for luffy, even with his care-free and child-like character)
7) ROBIN-chwan : robin might be an archeologist and be able to decipher the poneglyphs, but it has no direct importance to the crew, at least not that we've seen. so the fact that she ranks #7 is attributed to her strength
8) USOPP: usopp is and has been very helpful to the crew as he's seen to be versatile,
9) DEAD-BONES BROOK: brooke is gradually stepping up the list....
