Talos once again resumed his stance, taking a deep breath as he finished listening to his sensei's instructions. Like he did before TAlos sent a mass of chakra forcefully through his chakra network, through the first gate easily and through the seconds as well on the way to the third forcing it open a lot easier then when he tried for the first time, he was getting better at this. Increasing the flow of chakra even more Talos worked on the 4rth gate bursting it open aswell and successively onto the Tomon located lower on the spinal cord. This gate offered resistance like the other gates did previously but slightly more than the 4th. Talos pushed and pushed his chakra through as his veins began do bulge from the effort he placed. More and more Talos pushed the flow of his chakra as he began to shake as well until finally the gate opened up and his muscles suddenly tightened up to a degree he could never have dreamt of. He felt light and agile ready to burst forth in every which direction but remained still awaiting his sensei's further instructions to test his might.

Questions? :)

Jk, nice.

( Konoha Gōen Shippū ) -Tree Leaf Roaring Flame Hurricane
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: The user unlocks five of the Eight Gates and begins a kick so fast his leg catches on fire. The user then spins around into the air creating a spiral of flame before bringing his leg down through the centre and into the ground where the fire bursts outwards blasting any enemy within close proximity.

Easy to explain, you kick so fast that the friction ignites your leg, which you follow up by spinning in a spiral of flames before you strike the earth and cause a concussive force of pressure and flames to strike anyone within short range. A better usage would be spinning and striking the target. The 60 damage + the 40 gained with the gate and passive 10 makes this an 100 damage attack, easily making it hard to counter up close and directly

Once again Talos acknowledges the instruction of his sensei and strikes his standard stance. Then Talos bends his knees slightly and peforms a small frontwards leap, bringing his left leg in and performing a counter clockwise kick with the right leg. Driving his knee through and rotating his body in the same direction, entering into a spin. The speed and rotational force is so great that the friction from the kick ignited his leg and his rotation gave off the look of a flaming spinning top. Even with the short air time the amount of rotations performed would bewilder the naked eye, if they could see past the fire and deduce what was happening between the speed, and movements that is... As quick as he went up, Talos came roaring down to the ground smashing his right leg into the ground releasing the force and fire created in a flurry of flame bursting short range around me.

Aii i got this, a little dramatic the way i envisioned it, but id rather use it to directly attack like you said as opposed to coming back down.

And now on to my favorite gate!

(Keimon) - Gate of View: The user activates the Gate of View or 6th Gate, located in the stomach. Increases the user's speed and power. Opening of this gate releases such enormous amounts of chakra that it can cause nearby water bodies to form a vortex around the user. Allows the user to perform the Morning Peacock. This gate adds +40 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 4x faster. User suffers -25 damage.
After opening the Keimon, you gain a speed boost of 4x your base speed. In this state, why not still being the fastest speed obtainable, you become much faster than most ninja on the site, only 9 Tails Mode and Bijuu Mode being faster in terms of canon abilities and ofc, the 7th and 8th gates. Now, note the +40 damage gained. Adding the +10 passive damage you gain, this allows you to be able to deal freeform attacks that would cause roughly 50 points of damage per hit, or a strong B ranked attack. Adding this to any taijutsu tremendously increases the power and it's usefulness.

The Keimon is located in the stomach, lower than the Tomon is located. Apply pressure individually to each individual gate (this should becoming increasingly easier) and then apply chakra and pressure to the Tomon gate

Talos keenly listened to the instructions of his sensei, and took a deep breath. He started off like many time before flooding a mass of chakra through the first gate, opening it with ease and moving towards the second gate. Like many times before and aided through practice, even the second opened quickly. The chakra was now re-routed towards the second gate, which offered a little more resistance, Talos simply forced more chakra through the gate smashing it open aswell as the chakra now surged towards the 4th gate. This gate again offered more resistance and required more effort. Talos poured more and more chakra steadily building pressure at the gate, it fought back almost but eventually gave way. Now came the fifth gate, the Tomon. Chakra pushed against the gate hard, striking at it fiercely, but it stood in opposition with great pride.... Talos had done this before and he would do it again, it was nothing new. He spiked his chakra to insane levels, building more and more pressure as Talos himself began to shake and veins began to bulge, his system was overloaded with chakra punching at the Tomon which now opened as well. The focus now shifted to the Keimon, located lower in the stomach. Talos' chakra was spiked to the max, fighting against the Keimon, what seemed to be an unbreakable dam. Talos was shaking even more violently and he still kept raising his chakra levels pouring more and more towards the gate. His body felt like it was gonna break the internal composition of his chakra network not built for this pressure it seemed to him. But Talos would not give up, either the gate would break or he would break. Talos gave it his all, and pushed and pushed and pushed until finally the gate opened.

Talos had never felt this way before, tight yet light in a way unimaginable, he felt as if a twitch was enough till kill someone. He awaited further instruction from his sensei...

(Hachimon: Asa Kujaku) - Eight Gates: Morning Peacock
Rank:A
Type:Attack
Range:Short
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user will approach the target in a crane stance and kick then into the sky. Then the target is stuck with many punches that are literally on fire, which makes the peacock design in the air.The last blow send the enemy flying into the ground
Requirements:6 gates open

You must be registered for see images

Dealing a large barrage of punches, you literally punch so fast that the friction ignites the blows, creating a peacock design in the process. You then end with a punch that strike the opponent back into the earth. Dealing 60 damage normally, when adding the 50 damage gained passively, it becomes boosted to 110, presenting very little canon defenses to an attack this powerful. Questions?

Talos nods his head signalling he understood the task at hand, taking a few steps to his right he squared up to a dummy. Talos smirked and cracked his neck, before lurching forward and raising his arms and pulling his left knee up entering the crane stance. The crane stance had just been invoked as he extended his left leg out and up transitioning form the crane right into a kick making contact with the dummy at the upper chest level. Just as the kick made contact, Talos pushed off the ground with his right leg becoming airborne simultaneously with the dummy. The extended arms now flew forwards in a massive flury of punches Each fist propelling and retracting continuously so fast it seemed TAlos had multiple arms. The force of the punches caused them to ignite sending small fireballs flying outwards in a display reminiscent of a peacock. Following up, Talos gave one last punch hitting dead centre on the dummy sending it crashing to the ground.

Questions... Yea Sorta, and assumptions leme know if im right.

Aight so all of that crane crap im gonna skip it and get right to the goodies and also the sending them into the air and crashing them back into the ground. Im good if i just smack them with it while on the ground right?

Also, im assuming i can just use this as a ranged attack aswell.

Lastly, Im assuming the fireballs travel faster then me, also in the sense that if im running forwards and doing this i wont out run my firballs and crash into them. So if im at the 6th gate are my fireballs travelling at the 7th gate speeds. I know im overthinking this but just curious.

1. You knock them in the air and then they come down and you finish. You're free to adjust this as you want but they have to raise in the air, that's the mandatory part.
2. Yes, it works as a projectile type attack
3. More or less same speed. He punches and the friction ignites the air and punches around it. The punches aren't faster than you're movement, it's just burning air pushed off basically.

Note: the ideal range for that jutsu is Short to Mid range. Beyond that, the fire begins to dissipate.

(Hachimon: Gyaku no Basutā) - Eight Gates: Reverse Buster
Rank: S
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 40
Damage points: 80
Description: The user flip kicks the enemy into the air and opens several chakra gates. He dashes into the air where he kicks the enemy two times, launching them higher into the air where he strikes kicks them towards the ground. He dashes to the ground before them and punches the falling enemy away in a massive wave of chakra.

Pretty straightforward and easy to understand, you perform a flip kick ( a backwards flip where your feet connect with their chins ) to strike them into the air. Afterwards, you open several gates rapidly (EIG masters can open directly to 6th gate for this) and then kick him twice, striking him higher in the air as you end the kicks with a strong kick back to the earth. With your greater speed, you dash off the air back towards the ground, beating them there and ending with a powerful punch away, releasing a wave of chakra. If gates are already opened, then this becomes more useful, skipping the second part altogether and chaining the attacks together quicker. While no specific gate is listed as a requirement, anything above the first gate should be usable with this. Of course, the inherent damage boosts make this even stronger. :p

Talos still in his Hachimon Kai state, heeds his sensei's words, dashing towards a dummy a few meters away. Within range in a split second, Talos draws his right knee up, and pulls his back back, while pushing off the ground with his left leg and extending his right leg simultaneously. The Leg connects with the dummy's chin sending it airborn as Talos follows through with the flip. And in quick succession, with his gates already opened, rebounds off the ground darting into the air striking two powerful kicks Left,Right into the dummy's abdomen sending the dummy flying higher. As right leg kick made contact, Talos had already calculated the dummy's trajectory. Dashing ahead Talos was facing the sky, and then rotated his body counter clockwise brining his right leg out and driving it through a full range of motion, As the leg drove through it made contact with dummy who was flying upwards, the impact sinding the dummy crashing back down. TAlos however wasn't done yet, and in a last merciless act of dummy lust, dashed off the air darting towards the ground, beating the dummy in that race, as he closed in Talos delivered a right armed punch at the dummys head, releasing a powerful wave of chakra, the combined force shattered the dummy and sent its contents scattered around the ground. A part of the dummy that looked like it's leg also went flying towards Sensei's head.

This has always intrigued me... dashing off the air, at what point (speed) does it become really viable and what are it's limitations in a basic sense?

Dashes into the air, not off the air.
Ah, makes sense, i always assumed some basic movement was possible like that, going back and watching an episode made me see otherwise.

However lets say im flying upwards with momentum to perform the kick on the dummy downwards. Now i dash back down into the air. How do i generate that downwards momentum, i know the gates speed and force helps but what is the mechanics behind that redirection.

Now lets say i lose momentum in the air, for example, In the earlier part of the jutsu where i jump off the ground and perform two kicks sending them higher. Instead of performing the kicks like a driveby as i ascend at the height of the momentum, I slow down beneath the dummy and perform the two kicks, now is my only viable way to re gain that upwards momentum to head back towards the ground and push off again?

Im sort of fascinated by this for some reason e_e

Alright, almost done.

(Kyōmon) - The Gate of Wonder: The user activates the Gate of Wonder or 7th Gate which is located below the stomach. Those who open this gate will pour glowing green sweat from every inch of their body, which immediately evaporates from their own heat energy, creating an aura which people would mistake as a green chakra coating. However, the side effects of opening the gate are that the user's muscle fibers are ripped to shreds after exiting this gate, causing intense pain if anything or anyone touches him. Allows the user to perform the Daytime Tiger without great strain on the user's chakra. This gate adds +60 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 7x faster. User suffers -40 damage.
Stronger than the last gate obviously, this gate sort of mirrors a Green Super Saiyan transformation, although it is actually our own sweat evaporating. Granting insanely power, it comes with a cost; after deactivation of the gate, the user's body will be in so much pain, that the slightest touch will cause massive pain to the body, basically preventing any form of muscle movement. The Seventh gate adds 60 damage passively, which is practically an A rank attack with just free-form damage, but add the passive +10 damage, and people would need an S rank attack just to beat our freeform tai damage as it would top at 70 damage.

Now, a choice: We can go over the mechanics behind the Daytime Tiger now, or later when you are actually able to use it, with EIG mastery in 3 months. Up to you.

Talos takes his signature stance, and nods towards his sensei in acknowledgement of his instructions. taking a deep breath TAlos shuts his eyes and begins the powerful flow of his chakra, striking through the first gate easily and on towards the second gate breaking through almost instantly. Redirecting the flow Talos now went to open the third gate increasing his chakra levels even further the gate also fell easily. Talos was getting used to this now, mentally and physically. The fourth gate was his next target and like many times before he increased the flow of chakra to insane levels pumbling against the fourth limiter. Easier than before the fourth gate poped open as well. Now he surged his chakra lower on the spine where the 5th gate stood, the gate still provided resistance but TAlos persisted and built up the force needed, the pressure of his chakra ripping through that gate. Continuing the flow the chakra travelled lower still on the spine to the 6th gate. The gth gate offered stern resistance and TAlos began to shake as he poured more and more chakra at the gate, muscles tightening and veins buldging the 6th gate fell again. Now came the 7th gate his sensei had just taught him of, the lowest gate on the spine.. the Kyomon. As his chakra made contact with this gate it was clear form the start this gate was the strongest so far. TAlos chakra was now spiked to its utmost limited the chakra system under pressure to the point it felt like it would rip it self apart, his body shaking out of control. Still Talos went at it, Chakra forced against the gate...the gate finally wavered in it's resistance and burst open like dam. His body was so tight, he could feel the muscles constrict against his bones he was sweating yet the sweat was evaporating in a green aura covering him. He felt quick...agile and powerful beyond what the other gates provided to him...

Talos Turned to his sensei awaiting his next lesson as and aura loomed around him.

Lets just do it now, Dunno where i'll be in three months time :/

Hachimon: Hirudora) - Eight Gates: Daytime Tiger
Rank: S
Type: Attack
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 40
Damage points: 80
Description: Daytime tiger is a strong and fast attack only useable through the activation of the seventh gate. the user makes a fist in front of their face with one hand and then taps it with their other, which creates a massive amount of air pressure resembling a tiger. The user then forms a unique hand seal, which launches the tiger at the opponent. The air pressure will condense as it's moving and be focused into a single point. The technique then explodes before impact, releasing the built up air pressure in an instant. A massive concussive explosion is created which can be felt a significant distance away.
Note: Use of technique will result in the user collapsing two turns after use due to tremendous pain.
Note: Can only be used twice.
Note: Requires EIG mastery.

First and foremost, Daytime Tiger isn't a Ninjutsu attack. Despite requiring chakra, it's a pure Taijutsu attack. In it's simplest definition, it's an enhanced form of Leaf Dragon God. By tapping your hands, you generate a large form of air pressure around you, pressure that's shaped in the form of a massive tiger. You then punch outwards, causing the tiger to launch forward at high speeds and upon impact, causes a mid ranged explosion of force that destroys anything caught within. The force isn't omnidirectional; it explodes outwards on the direction it ran. Dealing 80 safe normally, the boosts from the gate add on and makes it 150 damage, easily topping most Oped Canon jutsu.

Questions? The 8th gate will be done similarly, a review and theory session as you can only open it once lol.

Now to the last gate.

Shimon) - The Gate of Death: The user activates the Gate of Death or 8th Gate, located at the heart, enabling the user to achieve what is described as The Eight Gates Released Formation" (Hachimon Tonkō no Jin). Releasing this gate uses up all of the body's energy. It makes the heart pump at maximum power and exceeds the power of every other gate. However, once the user opens this gate, he needs to defeat the user as when the gate timing runs out, the user dies. This gate adds +120 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 8x faster.
Easily the fastest and strongest canon boost and probably most custom boosts as well, the 8th gate adds 120 damage to just your freeform hits. A kick or jab from this and they're having internal bleeding, broken bones and probably other stuff, and that's before It's added to any actual jutsu. You become 8 times faster than your base speed. No other speed boost grants boosts like this, Canon or custom. There are few things that can keep up tracking wise and even then, tracking and reacting are related different things.

It's located on the heart at the Gate of Death, aptly named. After opening the seventh, you apply more pressure and force on the heart to fully open your chakra pathways. Of course, I won't ask you to do that in training, just remember this lesson in detail.
