Strawberry Fest returns this weekend to name Little Miss Strawberry

[Strawberry]

The four-year-old event occurs annually in Marion Station, also known as the “Strawberry Capital of the World.”

The festival, which always holds the Little Miss and Mr. Strawberry Pageant contest during the Friday opening, will debut the Junior Miss Strawberry Pageant this year at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 9.

Local live entertainment includes Rukie Dize and Dark Gold Jazz at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 10, and The Brooks Baylis Band playing two sets at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11,
