Zoro is physically stronger than Luffy. Their attacks against Pica clearly proves it. Zoro's attack did more damage than what Luffy managed to pull with his strongest move.

Luffy legitametly should have died and had sanji or zoro experienced some of the beatings this guy got delivered to him they would have caved in.

At thriller bark Luffy was still smiling and laughing with all that pain.
But when zoro got it he was just straight up focusing on standing upright.

Luffy wasn't screaming or moaning in pain. zoro was.

Zoro is a god dang tank but When it comes to durability It wont hurt him cause he's made of rubber.

Which makes him twice as durable

Luffy has superior haki + amazing recovery speed + blunt attacks don't work on him. Meaning he is way more ample to take a beating than zoro.
