[Multi-Console] Stormcloaks vs Imperials

In Skyrim, which side did you pick and why?

For me, the Stormcloaks. They're actually trying to fight the Nazi Thalmor instead of just sitting on their asses for 25 years straight like the crumbling Empire. If Ulfric's Skyrim and Hammerfell (Redguard land, they already beat the Thalmor once) team up, I'm sure they could give a huge fight to those DAMN ELVES!

The main reason I see why people dislike the Stormcloaks is because they're racist. That's only a little true. At best, they want Nords to rule Skyrim, not puppet Imperials and Elves.
At worst, they want everyone who is not a Nord out of Skyrim.

The Thalmor are the actual racists, the people the Stormcloaks are fighting against.
They want to literally enslave or exterminate every single race of Man. Nords, Imperials, Bretons, and Redguards. All would be slaves to the Elves if the Thalmor had their way. Ulfric Stormcloak is fighting to stop that from happening, and the Imperials have gotten in his way to try keep a dying, weakened, corrupt Empire from withering away.

EDIT- Actually, he was referring to his contributing to war that brought Alduin back from Soverngarde. So i don't really know. I don't follow the lore that closely.

They don't hate everyone else. If that were true, there would only be Nords in Stormcloak cities.

Now i'm contradicting myself again maybe... he talks about how his civil war only weakened skyrim as a whole which made them an easier target for the AD. Later he remarks that he was unaware of the problems the civil war caused (namely the fact that so many deaths strengthened alduin and summoned him from the time void.)

Now i'm contradicting myself again maybe... he talks about how his civil war only weakened skyrim as a whole which made them an easier target for the AD. Later he remarks that he was unaware of the problems the civil war caused (namely the fact that so many deaths strengthened alduin and summoned him from the time void.)

If he succeeds, it'll be a success for all of mankind as its a step in the right direction.
If he fails, not so much. But it's not like the paralyzed Empire was doing anything anyway.

As for Alduin, yes the war helped him, but the Dragonborn finished him. That threat is over and done with, unlike the Dominion.

Ulfric only cares about the Nords.
Also The Empire was forced in to signing the treaty with the Thalmor to stop a war from breaking out.

beat the game once Empire but on several of my profiles i either went solo or stormcloaks cause the high elves sounded like A holes
