Storm Shadow is a fairly tall, fair-skinned man who on more than one occasion has been compared with Rock Lee in terms of physical appearance; Both have big black eyes and Black hair which are bowl cut. Storm Shadow also has a slender and well built physique like Lee and is considered very handsome. Shadow's normal attire while in konoha consisted of a standard Konoha-nin uniform with two bands each on both of his sleeves, a leaf green flak jacket, blue forehead protector, and blue sandals.

Storm Shadow is an aggressive and ruthless man who is capable of committing murder without a second thought. In his youth he was jealous of one of his clan mates, because the boy was their Clan Masters favorite . Though it has not been confirmed, it's possible that Shadow was responsible for the murder of the Clan Master. Storm Shadow believes that fear is a good way of keeping people in line and holds no qualms about killing innocent people.

Storm Shadow was born in Hyuga clan. One of Konoha's main clans. his father and mother were skilled shinobi and were well known throughout the Ninja Villages. He also had his parents skill and was very talented at a young Age. He didn't really have many friends as he was a silent type of person from the very start. In an unknown event his parents were killed by one of a top shinobi known as Snake Eyes. he was called to Hokage's office and he left the village after that meeting. He remained Rogue for some time and then joined Sunagakure He vowed to avenge his parents but was no match for Snake Eyes. Watching the skill and determination of Shadow Snake eyes let him live and asked him to train as hard as he can to fight him again some day.
Shadow took this chance to train himself in Shinobi skills and asked many people to train him but they refused, when finally one day a skilled Shinobi NONI accepted his request to train him in Fuuton. Shadow also met Ushiro who accepted his request and started training him in Suiton. After some time NONI disappeared and Ushiro took up his fuuton training as well. Then his luck struck and he met an awesome Sensei Korra... Who asked his senpai -Omega-to train him in Katon. After few days he met an awsome person Detective L who accepted to teach him only if he could get permission from Vision sensei. To his good luck Vision allowed him and he now trains in DOTON with Detective L. And currently resides in SUNAGAKURE
