The wind grows electric..the cloud looms above! Suddenly, the cracking noise rips through the airwaves trembling your body. Roaring thunder quakes the ground as bolts of lightning strikes all around. Then a calm, the purple cloud above begins to form a shape, the shadow vexes. Dragons head is formed, facing down above the two young shinobi, mouth opens and a figure slowing descends towards them. A bellow from the storm dragon causes the wind to rush hard upon them causing them to shield their eyes..the figure lands on the ground in front of them..
I bring the thunder and the lightning. The bark and the bite. You two, I'm to understand wish to do the same?

What is storm release:
Ranton style is a kekkei genkai that combines the usage of water and lighting together to create this type of beams or in the other case as Hiruko, his way of using Storm release is by creating lighting based storm clouds, that absorb chakra and in turn become bigger and stronger.
The way that Hiruko came to use the KG storm was by stealing it using the Chimera Technique; along with three other KGs: Dark, Swift, Steel.
The two users:
Darui: He creates the beam based storm release.
Hiruko: He creates the lighting based chakra clouds.
Storm release is a kekkei genkai which is formed by the combination of lightning release and water release. Darui uses this style to create laser beams composed of a high concentration of electricity and are quite blunt so they have no electrical/paralyzing effects and can simple smash against an opponent. Hiruko uses Storm Release in a completely different way and instead generates storm clouds which absorb the opponents attacks and then become stronger. This variant of Storm Release might be exclusive for Hiruko. Storm Release is a lot more fluid than normal lightning. Only Darui, Hiruko and a bunch of Kumo fodders can perform this style.

Castiel: "My parents died. I taught myself."
Castiel begins by gathering a decent amount of suiton chakra in his left hand, and as he keeps that steady he slowly pours a small but decent amount of raiton chakra into the water chakra; slowly mixing the two elements together until the two chakra elements begin to to glow, Castiel then proceeds to use shape manipulation to the newly created chakra to make a small bright sphere.
Castiel then proceeds to throw the small bright ball of storm chakra towards sensei.
"How was that sensei?"

Darui wasn't entirely sure on how to create the ball of storm chakra so he observed carefully as Castiel did it and not wanting to be the odd one out he then attempted it himself. He collected a measured amount of suiton chakra and slowly made it take the form of a sphere as he infused it with electricity steadily to mix both of the elements together. The chakra begins to glow but Darui struggles to make the sphere maintain its shape but manages to keep it stable.

Darui attempts the same method that he used a few minutes ago but this time condenses the suiton chakra more and makes sure there is a larger quantity of it as he adds in a small amount of raiton chakra. This time he concentrates his chakra and manipulates its form so that it begins to take the shape of a dark cloud composed of Ranton chakra in front of him and he balances the mixes of chakra by adding a small amount more of electricity to give it the storm cloud quality as it crackles with electricity in front of him.

Michael begins to think of the storm ball he just created moments ago; he listens to his sensei.
"This time I want you to use more water chakra then raiton"
Michael then begins to gather his suiton chakra in both his hands, slowly adding little by little raiton chakra, but while still adding more sution chakra this time, he beings to use shape manipulation to create a small cloud of ranton chakra infront of him, he uses his hands to push the cloud about five meters infront of him. Adding a small drop of raiton chakra to give the effect of a proper storm cloud.
Remember that it's both chakra but more so one in each type. Practice the mixture correctly and you'll have it down pat.

Now, back to the use of the so called "laser" storm chakra. I want you to bring your hands together in a two handed fist. Concentrate your storm chakra very condensed. You'll see it happening by the yellow aura or halos that radiate from your fist. Once you feel you've achieved such perfection of chakra, release it by manipulating it into a beam of sorts and fire one beam down range to hit the dummies. It's not easy by the way, to keep the manipulation may take a few tries and the aim more so. Let's begin ^^

Michael listen very carefully he then started to try it out himself, he brought his two hands together in a two handed fist, he then gathers up his water and raiton chakra once more, mixing them both together again, again creating more storm chakra, but this time around Michael condensed the storm chakra, if Michael did it correctly he should start to see a type of yellow aura coming from his fist, or even halos. From there, Michael then uses shape manipulation to shape the storm chakra into a beam, he then very carefully aims the beam at one of the dummies, leaving the other one say his training partner could hit the other one when he wakes up. Michael releases the beam of storm towards the left dummy, the first time he tries it, he missed.
"Damn."
Michael then tries once more, aiming and using more shape manipulation then last time. He flies the beam, and hits the dummy this time around.
"Yes, I hit it!"
I bring both my hands together and interlock my fingers to form a two handed fist and then concentrate a large amount of storm chakra by mixing my suiton and raiton chakra just like I did earlier but this time making an equal ratio between the two elements. I then condense the chakra until I see a yellow aura emanating from my hands and then I release three lasers from the aura and then focus the chakra as I attempt to guide the lasers and underestimating the speed of the lasers they fly to the far right of the dummy. I then try again using the exact same procedure as last time by gathering my chakra and this time when I fire the lasers I aim them more steadily taking into account the distance and manage to hit the dummy with two of the lasers and the last one missing the target.

This storm defense protects Michael from the incoming C-rank flame bullet that you used.

Darui concentrates the two chakra type and solidifies his suiton chakra and just like earlier makes it take the form of a dark cloud with shape manipulation whilst channeling his raiton chakra through it to give it that storm cloud quality. He then makes the cloud surround him, slowly enveloping him from all sides and uses his chakra to make it spin steadily whilst enforcing the cloud with his ranton chakra to allow it to defend against the fireball.

I'll go first, mid-rang I presume?
'Twas the day, the day Darui & Michael would learn the final storm technique, but first there sensei demanded them to do a small battle to showcase there knowledge on the elements of what makes up storm release, so Michael offered to go first.
"If you don't mind Darui, I'm going to go first, cool?"
And, with that said Michael performs a single hand seal and gathers a lot of water chakra in his mouth, from there he releases it in the form of a rotating sphere, the sphere races towards you, Michael without any warning continues with his next technique, as soon as Michael spat out the sphere, he starts focusing on what his sensei taught him, about mixing his water and lighting chakra together to create storm and Michael did just that he focus' and starts to gather storm chakra in his hands, and allowing him to release several bright beams of storm chakra towards you, Darui; a halo sort of thing is formed around his hands from the use of this technique, as soon as the water sphere "hits" Darui, that storm beams should be right behind the sphere, but Michael didn't think to stop there. He wanted to use a lighting based technique. Cause of Michaels hands still having the halo around them, thanks to the Storm release technique, Michael decides to use a lighting technique that doesn't require hands, so he gathers up some lighting chakra in his mouth and releases a lighting spear also right behind the storm beams...

Description:
After doing a sequence of 4 handseals (Rat→Dragon→Hare→Tiger) the user releases a burst of red chakra in the form of a gigantic collumn of energy that rises high into the atmosphere above him. As soon as he does so, huge cold thunderclouds gather and swirl around and above the user, covering the whole battle field. As the pitch black thunderclouds gather high above the user, the whole atmosphere becomes charged with static energy. After some time, having gathered enough thunderclouds and lightning energy, the whole energy is unleashed upon the ground descending in the form of a collum of energy (similar to the one initially triggered). As it touches the ground around the user, the collumn explands outwards, taking advantage of the moisture in the air to travel up to long range, hitting everything while clearing the skies in the process. The energy destroys anything in its wake, leaving nothing but an empty wasteland behind. Because of the massive range and chakra needed to perform this technique, the user can only make use of it a limited amount of times.
Note: Usable only twice per battle.
Note: Takes one full turn to charge completely.

When made into the sky, huge cold clouds will gather and swirl above the intended target and eventually the entire field. When done, the column bursts from the sky and when hits in the ground exands outward to cover the entire area making it a entire wasteland. Large amoutn of chakra, much concentration but the end result is huge.
