So I want to get this game on Day 1 of its release, since i'm not gonna pre-order it. When is Day 1? is it February 4 (Japan) or February 9 (English) I want to use Boruto to kick arse online

How is that new? Every other Naruto game has done the same thing. Whenever a game has a preorder bonus, you get the same bonus if you get the "day 1 edition" which is just buying the game within like a week or two of its release. Which really isn't even day 1, but game stores stock up on the day 1 edition.

I noticed storm pre orders or don't really matter.

I bought storm 3 and got goku Naruto. Then bought another copy a year later and still got the pre order bonuses in the case.
