Storm 2 if you want a game that focuses on story mode (more enhanced and better gameplay)

Generations if you want all the characters jutsu etc (better for vsmode/survival)

Storm 2 (For Story Mode)
Generations (For characters.)

Storm 2 gives you WAY more content in it (averaging an 8 hour campaign). Boss battles, story mode (goes from beginning of part 2 to the end of the Pain Invasion), and graphics. Not to mention the replay appeal.

Generations I beat in a matter of a few hours, the only thing your really going to get out of it are is the vs mode (if your curious about the anime content you can just as easily watch them in HD on Youtube for free), so if you have friends who LOVE to play the storm series then get Generations, otherwise get Storm 2 for sure.

Strom 2 is so ****ed up. Probably because they decided to make it for xbox too. Storm 1 was better. So, out of these 2, generations is better.

if you enjoy story mode boss battles then gets storm 2

if you enjoy lots of Characters and a better and faster fighting system gets storm generations

Oh lord... Okay, you do realize that Storm 1 WAS GOING TO BE MULTI-PLATFORM too right? The reason why CC2 made Storm 1 a ps3 exclusive, was because Ubisoft owned the rights to Naruto on the xbox at the time (Broken Bonds).

Saying that they made Storm 2 worse by making it multi-platform is ridiculous because there is no truth to that statement at all.

i like generations alot more the pace is alittle faster, and it requires more skill to play than storm 2

I prefer generations story mode style, but I would make stories longer, make one for each ( important ) character with boss fights, what if scenarios and ending cinematics. Otherwise they are just retelling the story from manga/anime - it's gonna turn into another boring franchise like with DBZ games. Open world game can also be fun if done properly, but running around gathering Tonton's pearls and lost ninja tools is definitely not my idea of fun.

Got bored with Generations so I say Storm 2. The story mode was awesome.
