Yeah, people are complaining about minor issues. That's true. But, to be fair, when you create a chapter that is purely visual with basically no dialogue, you should make sure the visuals are on point. It doesn't much matter to me though.
Honestly, it's either a mistake, or the construction of the 4th's monument was ordered early lol (jk) xd
lol True.
Maybe they carved the image as soon as they decided to make Minato the next hokage. When he met fourth Raikage along with B he was pretty sure he said that next time they meet, both of them would be kages. So who knows. There are many possbilities. xd
But the question is will Kishi explain it?
The time line was never a strong point of him ( along wiith failure in writing a proper female character. U_U). The ages of the characters are messed up all over the manga. When he started writing Manga years ago he forgot to pay that much attention to it and plan that bit well, it seems. Seeing the length and number of characters and the way it developed it is not surprising that there are some mistakes here and there and some of it keeps coming back to bite him.
Long serialised stories always end up with discrepencies. Writer may forget or have to adjust as the story goes along but reader's don't. In a serialised manga where every pannel is being discussed at the forums by thousand of the people the mistakes are going to be noticed more and more.
The best way to manage it, is completely rewriting the story- not going to happen as it is already published and I doubt if anybody will be interested in publsihing( or reading) a revised version of a manga. May work on books where they fix the mistakes in new editions.
Another way may be having characters accept illogical actions, with relevant characterss making some vague statements that could be used to deflect accusations of plot holes. For example Itachi acknolewdging that
his idea of inspiring Sasuke was a bit stupid.
How a writer will tie the lose end or fill the hole depends on the nature of the plot hole and the time when writer notices it.
I would rather wait and see how Kishi manages it when he is done then start counting them and comment because making hundreds of threads over it while making little efforts in really analysing it and exaggerating the problems beforehand is only going to take all the fun out of reading it.
I was never much of a fan of Obito theory but it is not my story. A lot of us are disappointed over the gaps in the story and all that but making hundreds of threads over it over and over is not going to help anyone. And some of it will most problably be covered in coming chapters.
Think before posting a new thread. Try to formulate and arrange your thoughts and if a thread on the topic already exist discuss it in there only. If everyone will post his thoughts as a separate thread instead of the existing ones, not much of a discussion is going to happen.
