There seems to be those who believe that just because of the chapter today, obito is greater than yamato in mokuton. These statements are false, and cant be made by someone who is thinking rationally. So the point of this thread is to not only prove that yamato is greater than obito in Mokuton, but also allow people to make there own arguement of who is better.

IMO compairing obito to yamato in terms of Mokuton is like trying to compair Yamato to Hashirama. But please state your opinions. As always im always open to other ideas and opinions. AS LONG AS THEY ARNT FANBOY BAISED ALONE.

Hashirama > Madara > Yamato > Obito

1. Production
First i want to bring the obvious to the table. Obito can only use mokuton with ONE HAND. This is a know fact because thru-out the entire manga he has been shown producing wood with the right side of his body.
SO, basically obito only has access to mokuton thru the right side of his body, while yamato's entire body produces Mokuton from his entire body.

2. Scale
Second thing i wanna bring to your attention is the diffrence in the scale of there techniques. When obito uses mokuton he only conjures small branches and/or sticks.
And even when he conjured a large scale attack it was made of branches and sticks. Which shows that he may lack the power to completely make trees and/or even logs.
Yamato on the other hand is able to produce large scale attacks and form wood in a complete way. Creating trees and using large blocks of wood to complete structures.
Yamato has also shown the power to create multiple buildings at once. This by itself shows and proves that the scale of mokuton that yamato makes is on a completely larger scale than obito's.

3. Experience
Yamato has clearly shown that his experience with mokuton is on a higher level. Yamato graduated the academy and became a chunine at the age 6 (younger than itachi). At the age 7-8 he joined Anbu (younger than itachi) and had the best performance record in anbu under the third hokage (better record than itachi). Clearly showing that even at such a young age he was very experience with his mokuton.
From the manga thus far we have only seen obito display an average/par level of mokuton. Only summoning twigs and not using much creative process at all when using the technique. Yet from this one page alone people try to give obito a higher grade with his use of mokuton over yamato.smh
