This current round of filler episodes have been decent, it lets us know a few things about other characters. It elaborates one some of the questions and threads on the base to see if Hidan was truly immortal, if that was edo tensi that kabuto used to being that blobby thing to life, and turn it into hidan. And it shows how he ammased his edo army.

i don't understand people sometimes,if you're up to date with the manga why you need to watch anime?i basically watch anime to see fillers because it's something new,cannon will repeat itself in the anime so why bother watching it?
