Sakura and Chiyo won that match because they were a perfect match up for Sasori.

• Sakura had the strength to break Hiruko and punch back the Satetsu Kesshū.
• Sakura had the medical skills to counter Sasori's poison, and had the antidote on her.
• Chiyo had the puppet mastery needed to hold Sasori back for the majority of the fight.
• Chiyo could use her pupper techniques to allow Sakura to avoid his attacks.

Each of them would have lost badly if they were facing him alone, and yet, even when they were combined, they would have lost in the end had he not decided to take the hit.

His superiority becomes even more apparent when you consider the fact that he had a huge amount of Human puppets in his arsenal which he didn't even use.​

I agree, Sasori would definitely have beaten Sakura 1-on-1 back then. Now she has even more healing abilities though, she's much stronger too. I'd like to see a rematch with current Sakura and Sasori. Maybe Sasori would still win...or maybe not. Either way it'd be interesting. For all we know she could have created a better antidote for Sasori's poison by now.U_U

just face it, it doesnt matter if she could beat him by herself or not or whether chiyo can beat him by herself...fact of the matter is sakura beat sasori even it was with help. though it doesnt cover chiyo saving sakura those scans femmefatale put up is kishi making those statements in his own words. at that point, naruto wouldnt have been able to do what chiyo comments on sakura doing or many of the k11 for that matter. (excluding sasuke, shikamaru, and shino but then again they wouldnt have had a antidote)

Who's saying Sakura > sasori? I haven't heard anybody say that even when I happened years ago..only a few blokes who have no reasoning other than the fact that they are female and want people to think females aren't as weak as they are in the series with simple anicdotal evidence. Unless she punches him in core then its ineffective and since your making the claim that she gets near him, show me proof where she punches his core or even gets close to him w/o chiyos help.
