Sharingan just like many doujutsu's are signs of growth while bijuu's are crutches its and insult to characters like Itachi for people to compare them so stop unless you can prove the Sharingan is as much of a crutch as bijuu which would be impossible

All power (eye power and body power) and chakra originates from the 10 tails. The differences are how each character obtains their power and each power have different advantages and disadvantages.

This "a tail beast is a living creature" argument is dumb because the eye power does alot for it's users. Eye power analysis, follow movement, copy jutsu, see through jutsu and even gives the user jutsu automatically.

Examples:

- When Sasuke was fighting Naruto at the VOTE the first time his sharingan evolved and he was automatically able to see and follow all of Naruto's body movement. All he did was acknowledge Naruto.

- When Sasuke was fighting Killer Bee he automatically gain the ability to control (extinguish) amaterasu. He didn't know he could do that and even questioned if that power was his new eye power.

Yes, I know having a the tail beast means the users can use their chakra and communicate with them, but that's the point. These powers have different advantages and disadvantages.

In the end everyone is just arguing over which power they believe is the more preferred power because the other power does too much for its user. The reality is both powers does alot for it's user.
