Some of it is calling paying attention to detail. Not everything can be shown so Kishimoto includes the small bit In the background. We knew Kakashi and Obi to fought. He is only able to narrate the story while the anime includes the detail the manga can not. Plus a lot of the stuff happened in the many a, you just forgot it or overlooked it.

Since Kishimoto, as the creator of Naruto and the only one that holds credibility on that subject, doesn't actually have anything to do with how the Anime is made, we're pretty much allowed to label events that haven't happened in the Manga as filler.

If the anime did the battles exactly as it was in the manga, it wouldn't even be close to touching what it is now. The high quality animated fight episodes are what makes Naruto so worth watching. The last episode was one of the best looking episodes in the entire series. Who cares if you call it filler or not, it's damn good.

That sig is definitely filler haha. Kishi would have given Shisui more justice than getting wasted by one arm Danzo.

Half of the naruto vs sasuke fight was filler, so was the naruto pain fight. Its not canon. Still good, but not canon

obviously there are gonna be added parts in the anime that werent shown in the manga in order to make the scenes clearer, dont tell me that i has not happened to you while reading a manga that there were a few panels you didnt understand what happened, anyway almost all animes based off of manga do the same, if they didnt do it, they would have to take like 5 manga chapters to make an episode.

Anyway kishi may not be the director of the anime but i´m sure he´s got a word as to what happens in the anime too, but even it´s not canon that is more accurate than fanfictions so just enjoy it

Yep, I don't think Kishi wanted to waste panels on their fight, so the anime obviously did it, I don't consider it a filler.
