Still Waiting For The Main Characters!

This is a short thread that came to my mind. Now, you may have noticed that the title said main characters. However, if you ask me the number of main character as far as human being are concerned, I will answer that there is only one, Uzumaki Naruto.

Yet, poetically speaking, sometimes, I think there are two main characters, and the choice of these two main characters is yet to be justified by Kishi. Oh, wait, you may say. You may even add that it is clear that Naruto is the main character from is role. Well, I think you are right, yet I also think Kishi need to show the actual reason Naruto is the main character.

While I don't want to speculate on the above, I remain opened to any discussion. Far from me, this argument does not mean that I think someone else play more main role than Naruto. In fact, I am satisfied with the consistency of the role played by Naruto, and I think no one can replace him. Yet, I am convinced that Kishi still have a big twist under his sleeve for the main characters, who is the sole and unique Uzumaki Naruto.

So why do I put the main character in plural? Who are they?

Well, it is obvious. In case you have not figure it out, here they are. Sorry, I mean here he is: UzumakiNaruto. Yeah, Naruto is the main character, but I have figured out that the actual main character is the Uzumaki clan.

Does it make any sense to you? Why the main character is Uzumaki? Do you think it is a coincidence?

My opinion is that the Uzumaki clan is the greatest clan of the series. It is the origin of all the major clan. This is why they have to fix the mess they created among their descendent.

So, to sum up, the choice of the main characters is still to be backed by Kishi.

I think currently people think there are two main character sasuke and naruto, kishi did too much with sasuke, and now his fans think he is important. he sorta is but its kinda blinding them from the fact that in the end naruto is still the main character and the story will be about him

sasuke is just lucky because he was next to naruto

Well, there are plenty of other factors linking Naruto's lineage to the "Origin" clan, the Ootsutsuki. However, Sasuke is more of a "Pure Bred" in that respect, being a full-blooded Uchiha... Naruto's greatest trait is his status as Ashura's reincarnation.

We're tired of Naruto hogging all the spotlight, we get all his backround, also don't give me a crap about he's a main character, that doesn't give the excuse for his attention seeker. Honestly what we're looking forward the most is that we need more Side Characters come into the play.

Well, I read all the reaction, and no one really got my point. This also shows why there are many misunderstandings after each chapter release. So, I will water the language down.

I said the main characters are Naruto and the Uzumaki clan. Rather than interpreting it as a call for Kishi to bring the Uzumaki clan, my point is completely different. Just as the Uchiha represents Sharingan, and the Senju represents a body and many varieties of Jutsus, I think the Uzumaki also have a signature Jutsu and a figure that can be for them what Ashura and Indra were to Senju and Uchiha. If you get my point, you see that I am saying Naruto is more than Ashura's reincarnation. He is also the heir of the strongest Uzumaki and he certainly has a hidden KKG just as Karin and Kushina have one.

So the line is as follows:

Strongest Senju: Mokuton or Ashura's power
Strongest Uchiha: EMS + Susanoo or Indra's
Huyaga; Byakugan to a yet to see level
Uzumaki: Unknown power and ancestry.

Naruto represents both Uzumaki and Senju, and we still have to see his Uzumaki heritage, a KKG that is yet to be seen.

No. Sasuke is a major side character, but not a main character. The only main character is Naruto Uzumaki. Besides, the Uzumaki clan have been part of the series since day one, and they have always been there.

(1) Every time Naruto was shown, an Uzumaki was shown (since he is Uzumaki)
(2) Every time sealing Biju was mentioned, it was something related to Uzumaki
(3) Kushina was Uzumaki, and all she is part of the entire Naruto series
(4) Karin is Uzumaki as well as Nagato was.
(5) etc.

Now, the same people who say Uzumaki have not been mentioned for 180 chapter will complain when Kishi will start to focus on them. They are the same who are complaining about Kaguya being mentioned 2 chapter ago and becoming the main villain. This is a bad reading, because since Rikudo was introduced and was said to be the creator of Ninjutsus, every skilled reader started to ask a lot of question, including his mother, how they became so, and whether they were the first human or not. Basically, Kaguya was implicitly introduced the minute her son was introduce, except for those who thought that Rikudo fall from the sky.

Similarly, a question needs to be answered. Why is the main character an Uzumaki? Why did they chose the Uzumaki family name rather than Namikaze, and I don't mean any Japanese naming crap?
