Well, i am not confident as I was before this chapter, my only hope is that Naruto is much younger than Hashirama, and still has chance to be just below him, surpassing him will be so much to hope.

We can't be for sure, because as of right now there is no way in hell that Naruto can beat Madara. So he's going to have to get some sort of "power up" of some sort in order to defeat him.

OT: I never did think that Naruto could beat Hashirama but he does have the potential to eventually surprass him. More than likely sometime way down the road.

This manga is called Naruto not Hashirama so anything is possible from the main character. For all we know kishi could give Naruto the rinengan and make him the juubis jinchiruki because he is infant a direct descendant of the sage. Just saying.....

He has the kyuubi's chakra and help and also has chakra of the other 6 tailed beast. He can clone himself at least 1000 times and has sage mode..

Let me remind you he is only 17, so by the time he is 25 i see him being the next god of shinobi andd surpassing all previous KAGES (not just hokages)

Yeah I agree. He was able to surpass his sensei at such young age he definitely have Potential and he does have will power to never Give up

Naruto is not even equal to Madara at the time of the battle with Hashirama ( bare in mind Madara had the 9 tails with him at that time )

Hashirama already did this before, too bad Madara found a way to survive and wreck it all. Even in that sense, he won't surpass Hashirama.

Fist Hokage wood style won't work on Naruto now sines they react to His power and become trees. Jut look at Yamato's wood column and What Happen to white Zetzu when Naruto defeated them. The same would Happen to Him too.

Actually, Naruto has such potetial. Naruto can get other half of Kuramas chakra, which would make him twice as powerful as he is now. If he combined SM with BM it would intesify his power even more drastically, it should be enough to lift him up to Hashiramas level.

Naruto takes it. Not in a 1 vs 1, but this is a rare case in Naruto, what matters is a persons usability in a team.

Say, Naruto + 100 jonin and Hashirama + 100 jonin, all jonin are equal, Naruto's team would most likely win, given Kurama's unique ability.

Of course the other thing is, Naruto is a lot younger, so of course his experience as a leader is a lot worse, thus it could still go Hashi's way, very likely actually, but give them same experience/intelligence, Naruto takes it, IMO. Of course, you could just implement Shikaku in each, then Naruto's would take it IMO.

Now before making any deciding factors on this, I would also like to see the actual outcome of that fight I doubt it's gonna be as predictable as we've been told over and over.
