the music in 2nd part started promising and ended up kicking the balls of all fans. i really don´t get how come such a great business as the franchise didn´t reflect fully its success upon the artists hired to put it into anime, mostly in the 2nd a 3rd segment of shippudden.

Artistically speaking it is less detailed, less shadowed, worse anatomic work colouring, music arrangements -in 1st part you had an actual Japanese traditional orchestra playing, remember? the drums and those string instruments.. all score in each chapter was done specifically

I simply get this nostalgic vibe from this, a sense of a journey that is about to end. I guess it's because it aired during the time the manga ended. IMO this should've been the final opening for the anime. U_U

Hmm I've never completely watched that opening before. I don't enjoy the singing but everything else was perfect. Itachi and Sasuke/ Naruto and Pain was perfect. But IMO it doesn't beat Silhouette. The singing/music/animation was amazing.
