Steps for Making a Vs. Thread

To be clear, this is just to help making the threads and not saying that you have to do it this way.
Step 1: Creating a Thread
When creating a Versus Thread, you will want to create an elaborate situation that invokes thought on the fight. When making this thread, make sure to keep a level of seriousness as stated in the rules. To create an elaborate fight situation, you will want to involve any possible detail you can create and make sure that the fight is fair and not one sided. I have included a template to help you create a good and detailed environment as a start. I have included a section that you can add additional details. Name your threads, (Thing 1) vs. (Thing 2), of course replacing the insides of the parentheses with your clans, jutsu, Kekkai Genkai, or Characters/Teams.

Chakra: (Kurotsuchi loses a large fraction of chakra whenever she changes her elemental nature. Torune is constantly using up chakra to feed the bugs.)

Step 2: Picking Characters, Clans, Kekkai Genkais, and Jutsu
How to Pick:
Characters
When picking Characters to have fight, make sure we know enough about the character to accurately assess their abilities. The reason being is that when we have a lack of information, people may have to assume things and can create an indecisive populace.*
You really want to evade characters that have abilities that there holding out, some of these characters should never be used for right now but as we learn more about them, we can begin to match them up against other characters.*
Characters you should not use for now:
-Sasuke (EMS)
-Madara
-Kabuto
Handicapping characters is a major debate as of right now. Personally, I believe that handicapping is okay to an extent. When handicapping your characters, you shouldn't take away thing that define a character, Naruto's Shadow Clone and Sasuke's Sharingan.*
How to Pick:
Clans
When picking clans, you should pick clans that have an equal amount of power and numbers of people. Your clans should also have equal amounts of knowledge known about them, don't compare the Tsuchigmo clan and the Senju clan.*
How to Pick:
Kekkai Genkai
When picking Kekkai Genkai, make sure that they have powers near equal to each other and have abilities that can be used against each other.
How to Pick:*
Jutsu
When picking jutsu, make sure that they have the same type of usage. When comparing a defensive jutsu and an offensive jutsu then asking which one is stronger is redundant.
Step 3: Creating a Poll
When making a thread, you always want to include a poll along with your thread and make sure it's public so everyone can see the general consensus. You can create a poll when you are creating your new fantastic thread, scroll down past the first submit button and check the box next to: "Yes, post a poll with this thread". Immediately below that is another number box that you can insert a numerical value to add a number of options for your poll. Usually, you will include three options, one for the first thing, one for the second thing, and an option for a draw. Including an option for a draw is important as many people will say that both of the things have advantages over each other and will be even if faced off. After hitting the submit below the check box and number box, you can enter options for your poll.*
Step 4: Personal Opinion
When your finishing off filling out the template, you can add your own personal opinion at the end of it and say which you think would win or if you don't have one, don't say anything at all. When posting your opinion, make sure to not post on your thread immediately after creating your thread, this can and will be considered spam. If you forget to add your opinion, just edit your original post. Also refrain from causing any flaming or any major offensive actions that could cause a fight. Remember this is a kid's site.
