[Discussion] Steins;Gate 23 beta version episode question

Okay yesteday Steins Gate 23 beta episode was uploaded on kissanime and it has an ending where okabe totally breaks down and chose not to go again in past to fake kurisu's death.

So as in season 1 he had went back second time and faked makise kurisu's death he made okabe(ver 1) to send a d-mail and change the world line and disappear from original world line, later in movie okabe himself started to disappear cause he was replacing the earlier version of him but makise saves him by going back in past and creating his memories back again.

Now in 23 beta he didn't went back and therefore okabe(ver 1) never sent d-mail and never changed world line so doesn't it means that there are two okabe in the same world line?

What i've written might be a mind fu*k but please let me know if i'm wrong.

OT: solely from your post, it's possible to have 2 Okabe(s) in the same world line, in season one, he almost had an encounter with himself.


So my answer his, he went back in time with a complete o time machine the first time meaning he did not exist as two people in the same world line but as the same person separated by time. The Okabe that came with the time machine killed Kurisu and left with the time machine. So no world line infringements there.

Thanks for ur respone, after reading i saw that i've overlooked the fact that okabe(ver 2) himself has killed makise on 28/7/10 and that must have taken care of okabe(ver 1), but another thing rolls out because in the end of episode 23 beta makise is shown to be alive on t.v, it means she hadn't died .

But in start of episode 23 both itaru and suzuha say that makise has died, even suzuha mentions the date 28/7/10, so it rules out the possibility that she died between 28/7 to 21/8.

So I've seen it the Kurisu shown after the credit was not alive she was on a screen,

the plot for the new movie revolves around Okabe testing for some sort of memory manipulation device in college, it turns out that Kurisu was wondering part of the team that created the device or something along those lines.
I don't remember the source but it seemed legit when I read it some time ago

Actually, season 2 is going to be about the future Okabe who sent the video email to the Okabe from the original anime. Future Okabe never received the video, hence the reason he completely broke down in this episode.
