Lady Deadpool waits in a clearing, hoping her sensei will arrive soon.

"You know I don't like it when you do that... Let me express my own thoughts! Get out of my heeadddd!!!! Seriously though, Akatsuki and 'steel' in need of training... Huh? Huh? See what I did there!? Haaaa!"

She falls backwards in laughter, hitting her head on a rock when she falls and knocking herself unconscious, as only she could do.

I will use my old Dexter bio that had steel release on it to RP.

--

Dexter walks up to the field with of course a monotone expression on his face, he notices the lady in some weird attire, the lady starts laughing and falls over and hits her head, she isn't moving.
"...Please get up, I want to get this over and done with as much as you do."
Dexter says in a monotone voice...waiting for her to get up before we even begin, Dexter doesn't like to be kept waiting and she is doing that exactly that.

Wakes up almost instantly. And sees the man looking at her, she quickly pops up, draws one of her katana and stabs it into the ground with some force. From it's handle she pulls a tiny chimichanga, to say it doens't last long is an understatement as she lifts her mask over her mouth and swallows it whole... As a lady would do.

*Lady D rolls her eyes toward the camera before focusing back on the man and pulling her mask back down.*

"Pre-training snack, check. I'm ready."

"Good, now a couple of questions before we begin. What is steel release? There are two elements that make up steel, what are they and how did you come to that conclusion, and why do you want to learn steel release, and how do you plan on using it?"

Dexter moves back a step or two, to give this odd lady some space, cause Dexter isn't overly sure what she is going to do.

Well, I'd assume it consists of Earth and Fire although it doesn't say on the wiki xD. Much like a smith does, you use fire in order to make earth (or the minerals and substances it contains) into a much harder substance, this can differ in life but in the narutoverse forms the steel nature release.

The nature itself allows the user to wield steel to their advantage, giving them the ability to not only create steel from the earth beneath them by changing it's properties, but also to turn their body itself into steel. The two main uses of the release would be to form structures/weapons from steel that would be impossible for other ninja to form, or in order to turn ones skin into steel, giving the user a huge durability increase and making them nigh on indestructible to weapons and blunt attacks.

Personally, my uses of steel release will be based mainly around creating customs. I've always wanted the release, but on previous occasions that I have looked into it I'd seen only one technique and was unsure that one could wield the release from the ground and minerals around them. I didn't get it because my assumption that the user was only able to use steel on their own body left me rather limited on what I could do with the nature. However, now that I know we can wield it in the ways we can, I see it's endless possibilities. As a huge fan of crystal release, I plan on using steel in the same way one would wield crystal, albeit with different limits and possibilities. I'd go into further details, but I'd rather keep the details of unsubmitted customs to myself currently. Just know that a lot of them are redesigned versions of my crystal customs from my Guren bio. I'm a lover of creative freedom, so structures and weapons are what I have in mind.

The two elements that make steel release here, are just merely for this RP; nothing else. You explained everything I expected.

Okay so, do you plan to keep your steel bio for a long while, or are you going to drop? I want to know, if it is a yes. I will teach you my steel customs for free.

Another question, when we start going though the techniques, what do you prefer template, or no template?

--

Now, all I want you to do is try and get your steel chakra in your hand by mixing the two elements, fire and earth. Use detail while explaining, what does the steel chakra make you feel, etc...

It is my plan to keep it for a while, I can't make a promise though. If I don't like it then I'll change, but I'm thinking I'll enjoy my time with it. I'm not going to deny it would be a huge privilege if you did decide in the end to teach me your customs, I'd happily return the favor should any of mine get approved when I come to submit them.

I'd prefer the training to be template free, but I really don't mind either way. Sometimes templates can be good.

I start with earth, channeling a slow moving current of chakra into my left palm I begin to imagine it solidifying and hardening before eventually the chakra in my hand falls still. With stillness comes weight, a distinct heaviness begins to emanate from my outstretched hand. With the earth prepared within me I begin to channel more chakra into my arm, this chakra quickly flows through my body, twisting and turning with life as it races quickly through my chakra newtork. The solid, heavy hand begins to adopt more traits, an intense heat now pulses from within my palm, mixing itself in with the solid earth chakra. As I feel the two types of chakra entwine within me I feel the heaviness intensify. As the heat prepares the minerals within the earth for a change the solid structure tightens, the particles within squeeze tighter and tighter together before my hand is eventually covered with a shimmering silver. A shimmer which does not last long, it is almost instantly wiped, washed over by a darker shade, somewhere between grey and black. My fist slowly clenches as I fight through the all too noticable stiffness in my limbs. I rub my free hand across the grey, it is cold. Hard. Steel.

I don't have a steel bio anymore, so they would be no use to me. xD

Well done, very, well done. I expected nothing less.

So;

So idea is simple, I will post the techniques and I will ask you to analyse them for me, for example: how to use it in battle, how to counter it, what is good about this technique (pros), what is bad about it (cons), what you like about it and etc. I think you pretty much get what I mean. The "How to perform" - part is a bit, not needed for, but you are more than welcome to perform it, if you don't understand the technique. It's better if we focus on the important things, like actually analysing the whole technique and knowing how to use it in a fight. Only filling the template is boring and sometimes not fun. I want to make this training as enjoyable as I can, I know templates can be boring and dull at times.

Something below are basic guidelines to use:

Example of points for every technique
+ How to be used in a battle
+ How to be countered in a battle
+ Some advantages and disadvantages
+ Your personal opinion about the technique

Do you have any questions about method?

Or you can chose to use this template:

PHP:
One/three advantages:

1.

2.

3.

One/three disadvantages:

1.

2.

3.

How you would use it in battle:
How you would counter it:
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):
Your choice. ^^

Alright then.

(Kōton no Jutsu) Steel Release Technique
Rank: D
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: Allows the user to, through the use of hand gestures, produce small objects, pillars, weapons, etc, made of black steel, from their body or from the earth. The constructs are as hard as a normal kunai and swords and can be thrown at a target physically.

What can you tell me about this technique?

The basic technique of this element, it's a copy of a technique that every element on the base possesses and is the fundamentals for everything else we will go through throughout this training, given away by it's more than generic name.

The technique itself is probably the technique that would pop into everyone's mind upon thought of steel release, 'make shizz out of steel technique'. Despite being obvious, the technique has abundances of my favorite thing on this site... diversity. It offers numerous uses across numerous ranges that can be combined with numerous different technique and elements. As is the case with all techniques of this type however, it is weak, a low-ranked technique with mostly low damage capabilities (this of course is untrue in reality, it's all in the aim). Apart from the aforementioned diversity, the technique (being low-ranked) offers ease, and fast speed of use making it excellent for more covert maneuvers.

To demonstrate the diversity of this technique, one only need look at the numerous ways that it can counter itself.

An oncoming steel kunai can be defended with creation of a steel kunai of your own, a steel shield, a steel pillar to push ones self away.

A steel pillar from the ground (blunt) can be defended with the creation of a large flat steel plate, the idea behind a pillar being (in most cases) to lift you into the air. By creating a large steel plate and holding it flat against the wind current, you could create enough resistance to limit your height achieved drastically, with a simple swipe upwards you can even push yourself back to the earth (this use could also double as a make shift parachute should that be needed).

A sharpened steel spike from the earth can be blocked with a simple skin shift, one replaces the area of impact with steel and doesn't feel a thing.

God damn. Great!

Obviously a simple lighting technique would do the trick also. But, good you didn't go for the most obvious counter, or whatnot.

(Kōton: Toami) Steel Release: Fish Net
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: After 1 handseal (Bird), the user is able to produce a black steel net from his/her hands, which can be thrown towards the opponent to pin him to the ground.

Okay perform the single seal Bird hand seal, your steel chakra will produce a black steel net thing from your hands, use it on my clone that is near you, this technique is good since it can pin and trap them to the ground, and you can follow up with another attack, the range is a little iffy but then most battles are from mid-range.

I'm gonna adopt the template if you don't mind.

One/three advantages:
 • 1. Weight, being as nets are made to hold things down the weight of steel is a handy thing to have
 • 2. to me it suggests that the net doesn't need to be thrown, and as shown in the roman gladiatorial arenas, a net can be as useful a weapon in CQC as any blade.
 • 3. Flexible steel? Pretttyy coooooooooooool

One/three disadvantages:
 • 1. The need for a handseal on a C-rank technique is something I could do without
 • 2. The design of a net offers limited variation in how it can be used, whether made of steel or not.
 • 3. Its weakness is an element that can be produced from the body near instantly, meaning it has a lot of quick release counters.

How you would use it in battle: Other than the obvious, I suppose there could be some advantage in creating a steel net, then using a spherical earth based technique. You wrap the net around the earth and give it a double layer. Although they share a weakness, it would strengthen the technique and make the sphere harder to reach.

Simpler uses include wrapping your opponents body (either fully or on a single limb basis), and blocking oncoming weapons as well as grabbing them and pulling them out the hands of their wielder.

How you would counter it: As you stated, there's always lightning. But most solid techniques will work just as well, a net in design struggles to gain momentum through the air meaning it's top travel speed is low, any solid should be able to halt it really.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): Perform the boar handseal and channel steel chakra into your hands, with that chakra one will release it and form the rather intricate shape of a net in the air, the net being made purely of 'black' steel.

I have a few steel customs in my QL thread in Kiri as well as a steel based CFS, could you check them out? I'd like a steel users opinion ^_^ x

Well done. It is rather flexible, not overly obviously. But just enough for this technique.

(Kōton: Kase) Steel Release: Shackles
Rank: C
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user does 2 handseals (Bird+Ram) focusing chakra beneath the opponent, shaping the ground into several (up to 5) shackles that shoot up to grab the enemy. The shackles are linked to chains that remain connected to the ground. Once they grab the opponent, the user can clap his hands, forcefully pulling the shackles and chains to the ground, effectively pinning the opponent to the ground, restrained by the steel chains.

Again, just perform the required seals. Start focusing your steel chakra below my clone; and by using shape manipulation on the said ground below create up to five black steel shackles that will grab hold of him and keep him in place, so if you chose to create five, two can on on his legs, two on his arms and one around his neck, but it's all up to the user. You can then clap your hands causing the shackles to pull back forcefully that are attached to chains and ceasing all movement in my clone, so you can use another attack similar in a way to the net.

One/three advantages:
 • 1. Dual Usage, can both restrain and deal damage.
 • 2. Can be used to decrease or increase range, moulding the battle to suit the user and playing to the opponents weaknesses
 • 3. Free to aim. Can lock any body part in the chain in order to prevent or restrict certain things, again forcing the opponent out of their comfort zone.

One/three disadvantages:
 • 1. Only restricts movement in one direction. The opponent will still be able to move as long as he goes in the direction of the shackles.
 • 2. Vulnerable to lightning, the most commonly used element in situations such as this.

How you would use it in battle: Create a spike from the earth with earth spikes technique, leaving a fair distance between spike and opponent in order to not alert him to it's presence. Then create the shackles from the earth behind the spike, by clapping your ands once he's caught you can pull your opponent into the spike, impaling him with great force.

How you would counter it: A fairly simple jolt of lightning would do the trick, so any lightning technique that emanates from the body. Alternatively, for something a bit funner, one could displace the earth that the shackles are linked to, freeing you from the alternate effect... although it'd leave you a fair bit heavier O_O

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): After performing two handseals I cause the earth beneath my opponent to harden and launch upwards in the form of a hard black steel. With the steel taking the shape of two chains they lock around my opponents wrists. As he struggles to escape the shackles grasp I clap my hands, causing the shackles to rip down into the earth, pulling my opponent face first into the ground. #HardcoreFacepalm.

Can this be used from any earth source? Or does it have to be the ground? Could I create a tunnel then launch the shackles from the ceiling, pulling it upwards to hang him? Or launch them from the walls as some make shift torture rack?

As long the source is solid like earth, I don't see why not.

(Kōton: Tama Ishuu) Steel Release: Bullet Swarm
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: After 2 handseals (Bird+Tiger), the user is able to shot out up to a dozen metal bullets from his/her body. They move as fast as arrows and can be shot in a radial manner or a focused manner, from any part of the body the user intends to.

Perform the two seals, start focusing your steel chakra all around your body, and use shape manipulation to turn the chakra into steel bullets, that you will shoot towards my clone, you can shoot up to 12, and you can shoot them all at once, or in a more focused movement, aiming for different body parts. Neat technique, range is great.

One/three advantages:
 • 1. Variety in direction/ Freedom of shot
 • 2. Excellent if you need to bide some time, hard to avoid
 • 3. Usable even if opponent is out of view

One/three disadvantages:
 • 1. Could do with having more, but I guess it's the Naruto equivalent of a Makarov
 • 2. Handseals
 • 3.

How you would use it in battle: Depends on the situation. You either shoots them all at once in different or identical directions. Or you fire them one at a time and make your opponent dance, and dodge.

How you would counter it: Plasma Ball would work wonders, shuriken shadow clone is a nice alternative.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I start of by performing a short string of two handseals and channel steel chakra throughout my entire body. Using shape manipulation within my body I release the chakra forward straight toward your clone, aimed to hit him in a scattered fashion, much like the wound inflicted if shot by an exploding shotgun pellet or being hit by a nail bomb. The wounds are horrific, blood pours from every part of his body and the bullet lodged in his throat makes breathing near inpossible. A splutter of blood from the mouth is all it needs and it's over.

Used correctly, could this break gen?

I don't see two handseals really as disadvantage.

And, how would you use it to break yourself out of gen?

No, really two handseals aren't a disadvatage. I was trying to pack the box and couldn't think of anything better :p

Just, it's clearly full body, if you release the bullets from the right spots spread nicely across your whole body I was just wondering if it'd count as a full body surge. Clearly not xD

Okay Miss. Mizukage can you please use the following steel techniques in a combo:

(Kōton: Tama Ishuu) Steel Release: Bullet Swarm & (Kōton: Toami) Steel Release: Fish Net and the last technique can be of your choice!
