By that logic robin can just clutch doflamingo? Physical strength of characters like zoro and sanji way overpowers that of what robin can hold on to, u never know if robin would be able to hold on to hakuba like that, cavendish himself stopped hakuba, robin said speed is useless against her not strength, she wasnt able to hold on to the zoro zombie at thriller bark due to zoro's strength being in the zombie, which resulted in her being beaten up.

He never got clutched retard, cant u see that she tried to bind him with hands but the guy easily broke out and threw a slash, there is a reason that before that scan she couldnt beat him and though that he was too strong.

The first thing you said was that Zoro/Sanji were stronger than Robin. I'm assuming you meant physically, and asked does Robin need to be physically stronger for her df to work? I was basically implying physical strength doesn't matter in this case. She can just make more hands or target an area(like the head) where needing to overpower them doesn't matter.
