[Suggestion] Status/Update sidebar or shoutbox

It'd be cool to see what other members of the base are thinking at a given time... Or atleast a shoutbox, I could do with a shoutbox for casual chatting

Already been suggested countless times, and every time declined. Plus lets say you want to use Evolvechat, that can only hold up to 25 members. Why do you think most forums that have such a thing; cause they are small and can support it. Wouldn't work here at all, plus as the mods will say and I agree with just use msn/skype/irc or any type of messaging system.

Shoutbox was a secondary suggestion the first was a status update bar.

Still, both would slow the base a lot. Status update bar, use Facebook or Twitter.
