Stating the Obvious - Tobirama is the Weakest Hokage!

As the Second Hokage, Tobirama was undoubtedly an immensely powerful shinobi. He was hailed as one of the most powerful shinobi of his era and was also the creator of the Summoning: Impure World Reincarnation technique; however, some time after its creation he labelled it as a kinjutsu and never mastered it himself, though he did use it enough for it to be recognised by other Kage. By simply touching the ground with his index finger, he could detect the presence and number of enemy shinobi. According to Minato Namikaze, Tobirama was also highly skilled in Space–Time Ninjutsu. Tobirama was also shown to have great physical prowess and a considerable amount of skill in the area of taijutsu, as well as good teamwork with his elder brother, Hashirama Senju. In the anime, it was shown that he was also a powerful genjutsu user, able to shroud the area in darkness that even the Third Hokage couldn't dispel. It was said that he wielded the Sword of the Thunder God, a blade with electrical abilities, and was said to have mastered its use despite the blade's lethal nature

I do agree that Tobirama might of not been the strongest of the hokages, but everyone can admit hes still pretty damn strong!

And he was probably the strongest one in the village after his brother died, so he still deserved the hokage title in my opinion :]

Urr no, He lived in the era with hashirama, and survived throughout the battles with Madara and izuna... And izuna was said to be Madara's equal..

So yes, he's at least on the level of ms madara, or he would have been dead already

i agree with you but thats kinda just speculation we cant say 100% that he fought them.

Ot: he far surpasses tsunade i can tell you that and he probably surpasses minato or hiruzen. List of his abilities: s/t ninjutsu comparable to minatos, greatest master of water release, inventor and user of edo tensei, very good at taijutsu, and judging by the fact he was made hokage he was probably quite intelligent.

all these things together make me pretty sure that he is probably the 2nd or 3rd strongest hokage.

I think you're forgetting that he can use edo tesei, space time, and a mastery of water style jutsu and he is actually a Senju a clan that can go toe to toe with the uchihas..

Tsunade is the weakest

Every Kage has strength and weakness in their own way.

Though I agree that Hashirama completely > Tsunade. Their skills are similar and Hashirama's healing is probably better.

And Hashirama got wood release. I don't remember Tsunade using any elemental jutsu.

bottom line is there is no such thing as a weakest Hokage, they all have very different strength and weakness but they are Hokage non the less. This thread fails.

you should understand that tobirama is the least mentioned hokage all through out the series. its really weak to compare him to other hokages especially to tsunade and hiruzuen coz weve seen them in action. we dont know everything about him unlike tsunade. if you're making hiruzen vs 1st and 2nd so much of a point, then i there's really a big flaw. 1st and 2nd weren't fighting in their own will. they were being controlled by oro. it would have been very different if the other 2 kages were moving at their own wills using jutsus and shit on their own. they have their own tactics in battles and i doubt if oro knew anything about them. he knew the jutsus they use but i doubt about the judgement and tactics. one thing i remember is this, tobirama was said to be in par with his brother, but he chose to support his brother rather than oppose him. another thing is his death. he died fighting 20 highly skilled, high level assassins as a decoy to save his students. and did he succeed. of course he did. his students managed to survive right? if any of those 20 managed to survive tobirama, then they would have pursued hiruzens group. i dont know about you but that is serious shit. 1 against 20? come on. tsunade almost died fighting kabuto alone. if tobirama was described in detail, all his accomplishments and everything, then i think thats the proper time to compare all of them.

In terms of power Tobirama was never meant to be all powerful like his brother.One look at the DB tells enough that his role is being the possibly greatest Hokage ever due having watered the seed that Shodai planted making the village blossom.
Without him we wouldn't have the likes of Kakashi or Hiruzen.
Thats his role not some over-powerful warrior.
