Bleach is great, but I will warn you... they say you need willpower for the first 20 episodes ... (because the second arc is awesome) However, I going to pinpoint it exactly to Episode 35. So push through it because it's rewarding. Also, Bleach fillers are.. GREAT. I'm about to finish the invading army arc (very very very recent arc) which is a awesome mystery! Also, unlike Naruto, it is quite humorous and has comic relief al the the time!

And yes, Ichigo is a boss. His power-ups are kind of like Naruto's (ie, biggerandbetter!Rasengan each time he HAS to get stronger) but it is pretty legit. I think it is episode 58 when you first see Ichigo as a total badass (after one of his first big power-ups). Other Bleach fans should know what I am talking about.

Bleach completely rocks. I like it a lot. Just as much as Naruto, but it is definitely a different like. Bleach is funnier, and maybe a little more mature than Naruto. The supporting cast definitely trumps Naruto's. But that is just my opinion.

Anime in general is better subbed (exceptions are Fullmetal Alchemist and a few others). I watched about 10 minutes of Bleach on adultswim and had to turn it off. But that might have been because I first watched it subbed on netflix. Maybe a personal preference?

Whatever works best for you! Subs were kind of annoying when I first started watching them, but now I don't even really notice them. I guess I have just trained my eyes to focus on watching and reading at the same time.

Good luck with Bleach! You should read the manga, too, if you haven't already done so. It is getting pretty good these days.

i agree with you... everything sounds so much better in the jap version better than the english... and thats because i started watching it in eng
