[Discussion] Started watching Fairy Tail --> Who's the main character??

Haha I started watching Fairy Tail (Episode 35..so don't spoil anything that happens to the characters please) and I don't get who's the main character supposed to be? Natsu or Lucy?

I would say Natsu is the primary protagonist for Fairy Tail. Natsu, Lucy, Grey, and Erza are all Main chracters with Natsu and Lucy being the most prevalent. At least that is my view of Fairy Tail.

I would say there the same, even though natsu gets more screen time and fights all the battles and save every one all the time, and is the hero of the story, and lucy is just dead weight for every one she has little to none battle capabilities...... so yeah lucy is the main character.... :yeah:

Technically Lucy, but Natsu is your main "hero fighter".

Erza, Gray, Natsu, Lucy, and Happy are technically your Main Characters or one could say hour Team 7.

Natsu will get by far the most screen time out of any character. I would consider him the main protagonist/character, but Lucy is technically the true main character.

According to Wiki, Natsu, Gray, Lucy and Erza are the main character since they're a team, and each's back story was presented in the story, and are well develop. You could say Natsu's the main character, and Lucy the Main Female, but I feel like she's more the narrator person.
