Last 2 weeks the Zou arc kicked of in the anime and the storyboarding, art and animation all have gotten a serious boost. Also the preview of next week looks really good.
Since we don't have any anime discussions here anymore I wanted to kick one off again.
What are your thoughts on the new arc. How do you like the animation and art ?
Toei added a new episode director to the anime, Mr. Yasunori Koyama who only did the episode of Sabo before for One Piece.
Do you think Toei turned over a new leaf and will they keep this up ?

As for my thoughts on the latest episode, I thought it was very cool and nostalgic how the showed Luffy exploring the island with the music they picked for that scene.
They also did a good job of creating an overwhelming feeling where Luffy was shown to be surrounded by all the minks. And the remaining SH's exploring the city was done in a way that it wasn't boring to watch.
