Starjun is his own Boss?

When i heard that Starjun searches a specila ingredient and needs Ootake to find it i thought maybe Starjun is only using Midora to get his special goal and then betray him
Starjun also acts like he is his own Boss somehow
It would be a good plot Twist

That could be the case since it seems that Toriko formed some sort of alliance with Midora since that he ordered Branchi to deliverer AIR to him. (or it could be that Midora gave Komatsu back to Toriko with the price of delivering acacia's ingredients to him)

Either way, I hope Starjun isn't "friends" or "acquaintances" with Toriko.

Yes he is my favorite characterr because of him being an amazing villain Midora is ok as good guy but Starjun should remain villain so i hope he stays villain it suits him more

Agreed but I'm just saying that because I want to see a Toriko vs Starjun part 2 . Learning about Starjun's ideals and giving him a good backstory would be nice. I wonder how Starjun will match up with Toriko seeing how Toriko learned Enbu already.

Yes knowing Starjun he probably learned something that makes Toriko trouble
I mean the rival gets stronger alongside the protagonist
