Star Trek Into Darkness
So I thought I would start being more active in this area of the forum and do some revives/reflections of recent or old films I have watched. So as you could probably guess I will be talking about the new Star Trek film entitled Star Trek Into Darkness.
I myself dislike the Star trek series overall. However I put that aside and watched the first film and was impressed and it changed my opinion on the Star Trek franchise. The second film carry's on from where the first one left off.Kirk is now a captain and has his own ship, the enterprise. This quickly changes as the main villain in the franchise is introduced who is Khan.Of course the death of the man who made him join the academy dies and he is given his ship back to go 'kill' Khan. There is then a series of events which unfold changing the viewers opinions on certain characters and making the villains seem misunderstood which was done very well in the film. The climax of the film is the death and life of certain characters which is done in a way where its not obvious but its something you would like to happen.
Overall the film is a great sequel to the first and has left me eagerly waiting for the release of the follow up film.If you have not seen this yet I would recommend this film even if you are not a fan of the franchise like myself. The story line is easy to understand and the character development is done so that they each share a place in your heart, if you have never came across them before.
All criticism is ignored as I could not care less.I am simply doing this as a way to bring across my views on certain films.
