I won't spoil anything, but seriously, watch this movie! Oh my fcking god, it was good!
After watching it, I have complete and utter fate that JJ Abrams will make a great Star Wars movie.
And Benedict Cumberbatch, even though it's already a bit obvious with all of his new parts, he will be a huge star. He can seriously act! His voice gave me goosebumps. I'm gonna start talking like him. And there's one scene in particular with him that was just so great. Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto did extraordinarily well too. Some scenes made my allergies kick in.
The movie is ridiculously well shot as well. The first sequence is just amazing with how lively the colors are. And Abrams uses a lot of different camera angles to make what would be tedious things much more enjoyable, like shooting from below in dialogue scenes and such. And the action! Man, he really knows how to make action scenes! There's no stupid shaky cam or anything, and the sound effects are great!
