School has started, but since it's the first week I've been writing a lot. Chapter 6 is almost done, but it will most likely be short, along with this chapter. I apologize for the shortness! :T_T: TOC, S.Train, Chakra Wizard, I think I finally got a chapter with no repetition! **I think the reason why the chapters will be short is since I'm still working on the repetition, I don't want to risk making a chapter too long yet. As soon as this all becomes natural without the repetition, the chapters should slowly get longer. TOC (ThatOneChick), helped me out with repetition.

Chapter 5
The murky fog that was lingering outside was quickly invading the school. The black cloud was already surrounding her after a few seconds, and she realized the fog was the cause of her fear.
She looked at Sei, who suddenly collapsed on the floor. “Sei! What's-” she called out when her legs gave in. 'What is this?' It felt like she was getting weaker; like her energy was being drained.
“I hear something, but barely,” Sei said in between gasps.
She focused so she could hear whatever Sei heard, but she couldn't hear anything. “Sei, I can't-” she started until Sei's scream interrupted her. She saw a blur go past her so quickly, but she could only assume one thing. Sei was no longer in front of her, but most likely behind her. Something was out there, and there was no chance that it was human. “Sei?”
There was no response, but she heard footsteps, which didn't sound human. The steps felt like a small earthquake but with strong vibrations.
That was it; they were going to die. There was a possibility that Sei was already dead, but she didn't want to die! She wanted to experience the feeling of having a dream, and love. “Why did this have to happen? Did we do something to deserve this?”
“D-Don't say that,” she barely heard, “we did nothing wrong. It's just our bad luck.”
“Sei! Are you alright?” she asked with a hint of sadness in her voice.
“I'm not sure. I-I'm tired, but I'm too scared to sleep,” Sei answered.
Sei was close to dying, but she was still fighting to survive. If only the fog wasn't there, then they would have had a chance of surviving. “What is a dream?” she asked softly. She had to ask that question before she died. She had to know what a real dream was.
“It depends on which dream you're talking about,” Sei started to explain, “there are the dreams we have at night that aren't real. Then there are people who say their dream is to become a lawyer. Fantasy, goals, they are things we dream about.”
'Were all those dreams I hated my fantasies?' she asked herself. She never expected all of those dreams to be her fantasy. Maybe her subconscious mind took over when she was asleep. 'A goal that we aim for, and work for.'
“Why ask a random question like that?” Sei asked.
“I thought we were going to die, and if I did I didn't want to be confused about dreams. But now, I have a goal I want to reach now,” she paused, “I... want to live!” She could finally work to obtain a goal; a dream. She wouldn't fail, and she would save Sei too! She wouldn't allow a thing to kill them!
The dark fog finally started to seem like it was getting lighter, and as it was getting lighter she saw a dark, tall figure at the door. It didn't look like an animal figure, but more of a giant figure. They might have been dealing with a human, but something was telling her not to judge by just seeing an outline of the figure.

Author's Note:
It took a while to work on this chapter, since I was thinking every moment I wrote about it, and kept looking back to make sure I wasn't repeating anything.
